1. Existing Roof Ridge Demolition
We will dismantle unnecessary parts (ridge flashing) for the overlay method! The lifespan of wooden purlins is about 10 to 15 years. Exceeding the lifespan can lead to corrosion and discoloration, resulting in the ridge flashing coming loose or being blown away.
2. Roofing Installation (Waterproof Sheet)
Next, we will install the roofing sheet (waterproof sheet)! It serves as the primary waterproofing, and if the roofing is done properly, there will be no leaks!
We will secure it firmly to prevent it from blowing away.
3. Component Processing (Eaves, Gable, Valley)
Before the main roof installation, we will process components such as eaves and decorative elements!
The components used are genuine Galtect components made of SGL copper plate!
4. Main Construction
After processing the components, we will install the Galtect main body up to the ridge!
Once the installation reaches the ridge, we will set up the necessary materials to secure the ridge flashing, known as purlins. We offer three types of purlins: cedar, resin, and galvalume steel, and this time we used the galvalume steel type!
The galvalume steel type is expected to have 3times the lifespan compared to cedar! Unlike resin and cedar, it does not crack, providing peace of mind!
6. Ridge Flashing Processing
Next, we will process and install the ridge cap. We will firmly apply sealing on the inside of the joint. For the wall edge, we will process and install a component called a rain stop flashing.
The nails and screws used for fixing are made of stainless steel, which is resistant to rust!
About the Roofing Material
The roofing material used is the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial.
The Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
It is made of SGL steel plate, which is also resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly adhered from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal plate that integrates the steel plate and insulation.
When installed, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials overlap, and the surface is coated with a highly heat-resistant paint, allowing for a cool summer and warm winter experience.
Additionally, it has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Moreover, it is lightweight compared to other roofing materials, which reduces the sway during earthquakes, making it a good earthquake countermeasure.
It excels in finish, durability, insulation, soundproofing, and wind resistance, and the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial is the most frequently used in our construction projects and is receiving considerable attention!
