Roof Replacement
Roof replacement refers to the process of
completely removing the existing roof and installing a new roof.

Roof Painting
Roof painting is, as the name suggests, the process of painting the roof.
Generally, the painting is done in three stages: primer, intermediate coat, and top coat.
It is generally recommended to repaint after 10 years.
Typically, the repainting guideline for roofs is 7 to 10 years, but Japanese tile roofs do not require repainting. This is because the lifespan of Japanese tiles is 50 to 100 years, so repainting is not necessary. However, if there are cracks or other issues, separate work will be needed aside from painting.

Leaks
The most common inquiry we receive is about leaks, but did you know that leaks are the final form of deterioration?
If you notice leaks from the ceiling, it is best to think that the deterioration has spread to the interior of the roof. In such cases, we recommend a roof replacement.
Leaks are visible symptoms of deterioration, so waiting until you can see them is too late, and there is a risk that other building materials may also deteriorate.
To prevent this, make sure to conduct regular maintenance.
Cracks
In terms of roof deterioration symptoms, there are many cases where the roof cracks or develops fissures due to the impact of debris.
Slate tiles and cement tiles contain calcium, and there is a difference in strength between new roofs and deteriorated roofs. A deteriorated roof has calcium that has leached out due to rain and UV rays, making it brittle.
In this case, it will generally require roof replacement work, but be sure to have a contractor thoroughly assess the condition of the roof and carry out appropriate work for your roof.

If the moss and mold are too severe, we will remove them using high-pressure washing or bio-cleaning before proceeding with the work.
In the case of rust, as a base treatment, we will first remove the rust, apply a rust-inhibiting primer, and then repaint.
