Exterior Wall Painting and Partial Joint Replacement Work Procedure
1. High-Pressure Washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.

2. Removal of Existing Sealing Material
We remove the existing sealing material using a cutter or similar tool.
3. Masking Tape Application
We check the position for applying the tape and carefully attach it to avoid any overlap on the surfaces.
4. Primer Application
We apply primer using a brush, ensuring there are no missed spots.

5. Filling with Sealing Material
We place the nozzle of the caulking gun against the joint bottom and fill it sufficiently.
6. Finishing with a Putty Knife
We press down firmly with a putty knife that matches the joint width to finish it smoothly.
7. Removal of Masking Tape
We promptly remove the masking tape after finishing the work.

8. Protection of Surrounding Areas
We protect areas that should not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks.
This is an important task.

9. Primer Coat
This time, we used water-based Soft Surf SG from SK Kaken.
By applying a solid primer coat, we can achieve better durability and finish.

10. Intermediate Coat
We used SK Kaken’s premium silicone paint.
The durability is said to be about 14 to 16 years.
The durability may vary depending on sunlight exposure and other factors.

11. Top Coating
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.

12. Cleaning
And that completes the job!
I was very happy to receive the request from Company M for the first time!
Thank you very much!
