Pamir is a slate roof that was once sold by Nichiha.
It is a non-asbestos roofing material that does not contain asbestos.
Issues have arisen with its performance, and it is no longer sold.

This is a non-asbestos roofing material that was once sold by Kubota Corporation (now Kameyu Corporation) and does not contain asbestos.

6.Cement Tiles

This roofing material is primarily made of cement.
It is a product designed to resemble ceramic tiles made using cement.
Roofing materials known as Monier tiles, which are shaped in a Western style using cement, are also classified as cement tiles.

The approach to replacing cement tiles is the same as that for replacing ceramic tiles.
However, some cement tiles may contain asbestos.
In such cases, disposal costs for asbestos will increase the overall renovation costs.

7.Standing Seam Roof

This is one type of metal roofing primarily used in large buildings such as warehouses and factories.
It is also used in residential homes.

3. Roof painting is done to maintain aesthetics

Roof painting work is intended to enhance appearance.
Therefore, roof painting does not extend the lifespan of the roof or improve any roof defects.

Colonial manufacturer Kaimyu states in their catalog that roof painting is for aesthetic maintenance.
Additionally, there are cases where, despite having painted the roof a few years ago, the roof’s metal sheeting was blown away or roof tiles fell off.
Also, please be aware that there are roofing materials that should not be painted.
