When we actually visited the site for an inspection, we found that the mortar on the exterior wall was peeling and had fallen off in several places…
Since the exterior wall mortar is thick and heavy, it could cause a disaster if it fell on someone.
This time, since the underlying structure was also weakened, we proposed replacing it with lightweight, rust-resistant, and cost-effective galvalume steel sheet!

1. Demolition of existing exterior wall (mortar)

The existing outer wall was in a state of collapse. First, we will set up scaffolding and dismantle the outer wall mortar. We must dismantle it gradually to prevent the outer wall from peeling off all at once, so we proceed with caution, prioritizing safety.

2. New Sheathing Installation (Softwood Plywood)

After dismantling the outer wall, we will install softwood plywood all over. This will be the sheathing installation.

3. Waterproof Paper Installation and Custom Metal Work

We will apply waterproof paper all over. Unlike the waterproof paper for roofs, the one for outer walls is made thinner. The custom metal work will be processed and installed on the eaves and corners. This custom metal work will also be made of Galvalume steel!

4. Main Construction (Galvalume Steel Wave Roofing)

We will proceed with the installation of wave roofing. We will secure it using specialized fasteners. This time, considering wind resistance, we have attached the fasteners at shorter spans!

5. Cleaning Up and Completion!

■ Fittings JFE Steel / Kiwami MAX
Color: Jet Black (Pure Black)
Eaves metal, edge trims, corner joints
The corner joints were specially processed at the factory!

■ Base Material
・Softwood Plywood
Available at home improvement stores!

■ Waterproof Paper
Shizureki (42m roll)
The roofing type comes in rolls of 15m to 21m, but the exterior wall type is longer, at 40m to 50m!
