This is a record of the temporary scaffolding work we were commissioned to do by Company K in Machida City, Tokyo!
It seems they will be doing exterior wall painting, and another company will handle the painting. We set up temporary scaffolding suitable for the exterior wall painting.
1. Upon arrival at the site, we will implement safety measures.
2. We will protect tiles and concrete floors to prevent damage from the scaffolding.
3. Start of scaffolding installation!!
We will assemble the wedge scaffolding and attach mesh sheets.
We will also place signs indicating the “maximum load capacity of the scaffolding” and “the duties of the scaffolding assembly supervisor” in visible locations.
4. Cleaning
The scaffolding we use is wedge scaffolding! (^^)
Wedge (Bike) scaffolding is one of the mainstream types of scaffolding currently in use, and it is adopted in most construction works for houses and apartments. Our company also uses wedge scaffolding. This type, also known as wedge-locked scaffolding, has wide planks for standing, and by using wedges to securely lock the planks, it minimizes wobbling and loosening!
It ensures safety during work, allows for comfortable working postures, and since the materials are lightweight, assembly and disassembly are efficient. It also has the advantage of being easily installed even when the distance between buildings is close and the space for scaffolding is narrow!
Our company handles roofing, painting, and scaffolding work in-house. (3 teams for roofing, 1 team for painting, and 1 team for scaffolding)
The scaffolding team sets up temporary scaffolding for use by the roofing and painting teams. We exchange opinions that only those doing the work would understand, such as “It’s easier to work with a stage here,” “The rain gutter replacement was a bit challenging,” and “This scaffolding was really easy to work with!” We strive to ensure that the craftsmen using the scaffolding can work as safely and easily as possible.
