Exterior Wall Painting Work Procedure
1. High-pressure Washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.
2. Protection of Each Area
We protect areas that should not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks.
This is an important task.
3. Primer Application
This time, we used SK Kaken’s water-based Soft Surf SG.
By applying a solid primer, the durability and finish will differ.
4. Intermediate Coating
We used SK Kaken’s water-based Premium Silicon for the paint.
The manufacturer’s expected durability is said to be about 14 to 16 years.
The durability may vary depending on sunlight exposure and other factors.
5. Top Coating
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.
6. Additional Coating (Rain Gutter, Eaves, Fascia, Shutters)
We will thoroughly paint everything that can be painted.
Eaves (Nippon Paint / Fine Urethane)
Rain gutters (Nippon Paint / Fine Urethane)
Shutters (Nippon Paint / Fine Urethane)
Soffits (Nippon Paint / Ken Ace G-Ⅱ)
7. Cleaning
We will thoroughly clean around the house and inside the balcony when dismantling the scaffolding.
We strive to make the area cleaner after the work than it was before!
