Exterior Painting Work Procedure in Miyamae-ku, Kawasaki

1. High-Pressure Washing



First, we thoroughly remove dirt and moss from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing! If dirt remains, it can affect the adhesion and durability of the paint, so we wash carefully.
We also wash the exterior structures, floors, and inside the rain gutters.

2. Masking

We will mask areas that will not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks. This is a very important task in the painting process! If masking is neglected, gaps can form, allowing paint to seep in or resulting in uneven lines.

3. Primer Application


After completing high-pressure washing and surface preparation, we apply the first coat of paint. This primer ensures that the middle and top coats adhere well to the surface.

Applying the primer properly makes a significant difference in durability and finish! The primer we use is Nano Composite Sealer.

4. Intermediate Coating

This is an important process to bring out the performance of the paint, to achieve a beautiful finish, and to eliminate unevenness in application!

5. Final Coating


This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting. We focus on ensuring there are no uneven spots or missed areas, achieving a beautiful finish! We used Mizutani Paint’s Nano Composite W.
The manufacturer’s expected durability is about 12 to 16 years.
Durability may vary depending on the region and sunlight exposure.
