Exterior Wall Painting Work Procedure

1. High-Pressure Washing



First, we thoroughly clean the dirt and moss from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing!

2. Protection of Each Area


Next, we will protect areas that will not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks. This is a very important task in the painting process! If we neglect the protection, gaps may form, allowing paint to seep in, or we may not achieve clean lines.

3. Primer


This is the first application of paint after high-pressure washing and surface preparation. It is a primer that ensures that the middle and top coats adhere well to the surface. Applying the primer properly makes a significant difference in durability and finish!

4. Middle Coat

Next is the middle coat. This is an important process to bring out the performance of the paint, achieve a beautiful finish, and eliminate unevenness!

5. Top Coat


Next is the top coat. This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting. We will be mindful to ensure there are no uneven areas or missed spots, achieving a beautiful finish! The paint used will be Mizutani Paint/Nano Composite W!

6. Painting of Auxiliary Parts (Water Cutting, Rain Gutter, Shutter Box)

We will carefully paint every detail! For metal parts, we will apply rust prevention paint thoroughly before the topcoat!

Joint Replacement Work Procedure

1. Removal of Existing Sealant

First, we will remove the existing sealant using a cutter or similar tool.
This is referred to as sealing, caulking, or jointing. It is a critical area that can easily lead to water leaks and cause cracking or lifting of the siding. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

2. Application of Primer

Next, we will apply the primer with a brush, ensuring there are no missed spots.

What is primer: It acts like an adhesive! It is often used for surface preparation! It is an essential process for sealing work, enhancing adhesion!

3. Filling the sealant

Next, place the nozzle of the caulking gun against the joint base and fill it adequately. The caulking material used is Auto Chemical/Auton Exceed.
Auton Exceed has a durability of about 3 times that of regular caulking materials (urethane, modified silicone, etc.). The expected durability is about 30 years. The cost will increase by about 50,000 to 100,000 yen for a building with a total floor area of 30 tsubo.

4. Finishing with a trowel

Next, press firmly with a trowel that matches the width of the joint and finish it smoothly.

5. Removing the masking tape

Finally, promptly remove the masking tape after finishing.
