Wood Deck Painting Procedure

1. Cleaning Work

If there are any stains on the wooden deck, the paint may peel off easily, so we will start by cleaning it thoroughly.
Once the wood that has been wet during the cleaning process is sufficiently dry, we will proceed to the surface preparation. We will remove any remaining paint and sand down any rough areas to smooth out the uneven surfaces.

2. Protective Measures

We will protect areas that must not get paint during the painting process. In particular, we will carefully cover the walls and windows of the house near the potted plants and wooden deck. Since high-adhesion paints can be difficult to remove once they stick, we will work with care.

3. First Coat (Primer)

This will be the painting process. We will paint not only the surface but also the grooves and the back side of the scaffolding carefully.

3. Second Coat (Top Coat)

To eliminate unevenness and prolong the life of the paint, it is standard to apply multiple coats of wood paint. After allowing sufficient drying time after the first coat, we will apply the second coat. Once the paint is completely dry, the job is done!

Wave Panel Replacement Construction Procedure

1. Removal of Existing Wave Panels

First, we will remove the old wave panels. This time, we will keep the existing framework and only remove the wave panels. We took care to remove them without damaging the framework as much as possible!

2. Replacement of Battens and Inspection of Underlayment

We will thoroughly check the base for installing the corrugated sheets and repair any necessary areas. Any decayed rafters will be replaced, but since there were no signs of corrosion this time, we will keep the existing ones!

3. Installation of Corrugated Sheets

We will install polycarbonate corrugated sheets. The sheets will be attached to the wooden base using special fasteners! The corrugated sheets will be cut and processed to fit the existing base!

4. Completion

After finishing the installation of the corrugated sheets, the work is complete. As a precaution, we will spray water to check for any leaks.

Roof Painting Work Procedure

1. Cleaning and Surface Preparation

First, we will thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the roof using high-pressure washing and scraping. We will also repair any cracks in the roof.

2. Protection of Various Areas

Next, similar to exterior wall painting, we will protect areas that will not be painted, such as rain gutters, using masking tape and polymer sheeting.
This is an important task.

3. Primer Application

Next, by applying the primer thoroughly, we can achieve differences in durability and finish.

4. Spacer Installation

Next, after the primer, we insert spacers between the roofing materials to ensure a pathway for rainwater and moisture to escape.

5. Intermediate Coating

Next is the intermediate coating. We used Fine Perfect Best in black for the paint.
The durability is said to be about 10 to 12 years. The durability may vary depending on environmental factors.

6. Top Coating

Next is the top coat. This will be the finishing touch for the roof painting.

7. Cleaning

Finally, we will clean up any debris that has fallen and wrap up the job!
