Exterior Wall Painting Procedure
1. High-pressure washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.
2. Protection of Various Areas
We protect areas that should not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks.
This is an important task.
3. Surface Preparation and Crack Repair
We repair any cracks.
4. Primer
This time, we used SK Kaken’s water-based SD surfacer.
By applying a solid primer, we can achieve differences in durability and finish.
5. Intermediate Coating
We used SK Kaken’s premium silicone paint.
The durability is said to be about 14 to 16 years.
The durability may vary depending on sunlight and other factors.
6. Final Coating
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.
7. Painting of Auxiliary Parts (Rain Gutter, Eaves, Soffit)
We will thoroughly paint everything that can be painted.
Rain gutter and eaves (Nippon Paint / Fine Urethane)
Soffit (Nippon Paint / Ken Ace)
8. Cleaning
