1. Existing Roof Ridge Demolition
We will dismantle unnecessary parts (ridge flashing) for the overlay method!The durability of wooden purlins is about 10 to 15 years. Exceeding the durability period can lead to corrosion and discoloration, resulting in the ridge flashing coming off or being blown away.
2. Roofing Installation (Waterproof Sheet)
The roofing used isTajima Roofing / Tadi Self!
It is a delayed adhesion modified asphalt roofing material, said to have double the durability of regular asphalt roofing.
With the roofing properly installed, it serves as the first line of waterproofing, preventing leaks!
We will ensure it is securely attached to avoid being blown away.
3. Accessory Processing (Kera and Arabesque)
Before the main roof construction, we will process and install accessories such as kera and arabesque!
The accessories used are the genuine accessories of Galtect, made fromSGL copper plate!
4. Main Construction
After processing the components, we will install the Galtect main body up to the ridge!
Once it is installed up to the ridge, we will set up the necessary materials to fix the ridge board, known as the kanban. The kanban can be made of cedar or resin, and this time we used cedar!
5. Ridge Board and Wall Rain Guard Processing
Next, we will process and install the ridge board. We will apply sealing firmly on the inside of the joints. For the wall side, we will process and install a component called the rain guard board.
The nails and screws used for fixing are made of stainless steel, which is resistant to rust!
About the Roofing Material
The roofing material used is the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial.
The Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
It is made of SGL steel plate, which is also resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly applied from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal plate that integrates steel and insulation.
When installed, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials overlap, and the surface is coated with a highly heat-resistant paint, allowing for a cool summer and warm winter experience.
Additionally, it has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Moreover, it is lighter compared to other roofing materials, which reduces the sway during earthquakes, making it a good earthquake countermeasure.
It excels in finish, durability, insulation, soundproofing, and wind resistance, and the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial is the most frequently used in our construction achievements and is receiving significant attention!
