Exterior Wall Painting Procedure
1. High-Pressure Washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.
2. Masking
We use masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks to protect areas such as windows, sashes, and floors that will not be painted.
This is a very important task in the painting process! If masking is neglected, gaps may form, allowing paint to seep in or resulting in uneven lines.
3. Primer Application
This time, we used SK Kaken’s water-based Soft Surf SG.
By applying a solid base coat, there is a significant difference in durability and finish.
4. Intermediate Coat
We used SK Kaken’s water-based Cerami Silicon for the paint.
The manufacturer’s expected durability is said to be about 12 to 15 years.
Durability may vary depending on the region and sunlight exposure.
5. Top Coat
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.
6. Painting of Additional Parts (Rain Gutter, Shutters, and Eaves)
We will also paint the finer details.

7. Cleaning
During the dismantling of the scaffolding, we clean around the house and the balcony to ensure everything is cleaner than before the work began, making it a point to finish the job well!
