Exterior Wall Painting and Joint Sealing Work Steps
1. High-Pressure Washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.
2. Masking Tape Application
We check the position for applying the tape and carefully apply it to avoid any overlap on the surfaces.
3. Primer Application
We apply primer with a brush, ensuring there are no missed spots.
4. Filling with Sealing Material
We place the nozzle of the caulking gun at the bottom of the joint and fill it adequately.
5. Finishing with a Trowel
We press down firmly with a trowel that matches the width of the joint to achieve a smooth finish.
6. Removal of Masking Tape
Immediately after finishing, we will remove the masking tape.
7. Protection of Various Parts
We will protect areas that should not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks.
This is an important task.
8. Primer Application
This time, we used SK Kaken’s water-based SD surf.
For the metal parts, we used Kansai Paint’s Zaurus EX.
By applying the primer thoroughly, the durability and finish will differ.
9. Intermediate Coating
We used Kansai Paint’s Sera M Retan for the paint.
The durability may vary depending on sunlight and other factors.
10. Final Coating
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.
11. Painting of Auxiliary Parts (Rain Gutter, Eaves, Fascia)
We will thoroughly paint everything that can be painted.

Rain Gutter (Nippon Paint/Fine Urethane)
Eaves Ceiling (Nippon Paint/Ken Ace G-Ⅱ)
12. Cleaning
This completes the construction!
We will thoroughly clean around the house and inside the balcony during the scaffold dismantling.
