Exterior Wall Painting Work Procedure
1. High-Pressure Washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.
2. Protection of Various Areas
We protect areas that should not get wet, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks.
This is an important task.
3. Primer Application
This time, we used Kansai Paint’s Ales Dynamic Filler.
By applying a solid base coat, the durability and finish will differ.
4. Intermediate Coat
We used Kansai Paint’s Ales Dynamic TOP for the paint.
The manufacturer’s expected durability is said to be about 13 to 15 years.
The durability may vary depending on sunlight and other factors.
5. Top Coat
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.
6. Painting of Auxiliary Parts (Rain Gutter, Eaves, Fascia)
We thoroughly paint everything that can be painted.

7. Cleaning
Roof Overlay Construction Procedure
1. Dismantling Existing Ridge and Snow Stops
We will dismantle only the ridge flashing and snow stops that obstruct the overlay work.
2. Installing Roofing (Waterproof Sheet)
The roofing used this time is modified asphalt. It is expected to have double the durability of standard asphalt roofing!
3. Fabricating Accessories (Eaves, Cornice, Valley, Waste Board)
We will fabricate and install the eaves, cornice, valley flashing, and waste board flashing.
4. Main Construction
After installing the main roofing, we will place the purlins at the ridge and wall edges. This time, we used cedar purlins, but there are also resin purlins that are resistant to corrosion.
6. Fabricating Ridge Flashing and Rain Diverter Flashing
We will process and install the ridge cap and ventilation ridge. We will firmly apply sealing on the inside of the joints.
For the wall edges, we will process and install a component called rain gutter flashing. We will also apply sealing firmly.
6. Cleaning
We will remove footprints and debris that have inevitably fallen around the house and inside the rain gutters, and perform a thorough cleaning.
We strive to leave the site cleaner after the work than it was before!
This completes the construction!
The roofing material used is the Super Galtect from Aijii Industry.
The Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
We also provide a 10-year construction warranty!
Made of Galvalume steel, it is resistant to rust.
Insulation material is thoroughly applied from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal panel that integrates steel and insulation.
When installed, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials overlap, and the surface is coated with a highly heat-reflective paint, allowing for a cool summer and a warm winter.
Additionally, it has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Moreover, it is lighter compared to other roofing materials, which reduces the sway during earthquakes, providing earthquake resistance.
You can also choose from six colors: Shade Black, Shade Brown, Shade Blue, Shade Moss Green, Shade Charcoal, and Shade Red.

What is the Roof Overlay (Cover Method)?
The roof overlay method involves leaving the current roof almost as it is and placing a new roof on top of it, effectively covering it.
Literally, it is a method of covering a roof with another roof. Therefore, the roof becomes double-layered. Since the roof is laid over another, it is also referred to as “overlapping roofing.”
Benefits of the Overlay Method
Since we overlay a “new roof” on the “existing roof,” almost no demolition work is required, meaning very little waste is generated.
This is our main feature, leading to various benefits.
The only parts that require demolition and waste disposal are the ridge cap, so compared to complete roof replacement, the cost is lower.
In 2004, regulations regarding the concentration of asbestos in raw materials were changed (for more details, please visit the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s website).
Some building materials used in constructions completed before 2004 contain asbestos. Asbestos-containing materials are difficult to demolish due to their high environmental impact, resulting in high costs for both demolition and waste disposal. The roof overlay method, which generates almost no waste, is ideal for such roofs.
