The roofing material “Super Galtect” used in the roof replacement work is the most commonly handled material by our company, and we have extensive experience with it!

Roof Replacement Construction Procedure

1. Dismantling Existing Roofing Material

We will dismantle the existing roofing materials! As the existing roofing materials are removed, many fragments will come off, so we will also clean to prevent clogging in the rain gutters.

2.Installation of Sheathing Boards

After dismantling the existing roofing materials, we will process and install new sheathing boards to fit the dimensions!

3. Installation of Roofing (Waterproof Sheet)

We will lay down the roofing sheet (waterproof sheet) on the base! Theroofingused isTajima Roofing/New Liner Roofing!
This is a highly durable and cost-effective underlayment material. The expected durability is about 30 years!
With the role of secondary waterproofing, if the roofing is properly installed, there will be no leaks! We will ensure it is laid down securely to avoid any misalignment.
When choosing the durability of the roofing sheet, it is best to select one that is as close as possible to the durability of the new roofing materials! New Liner Roofing is relatively close in durability to Super Galtect, so we recommend using New Liner Roofing when performing roofing work with Super Galtect!

4. Fabrication and Installation of Accessories (Curlicue, Eaves, Ridge Base)

Before the main roofing work, we will process and install accessories such as eaves and decorative brackets!
The accessories used are genuine Galtect accessories made of SGL copper plate!

5. Main Construction (Aiji Industrial / Super Galtect)

After processing the accessories, we will install the Galtect main roofing up to the ridge. After processing the accessories, we will install the Galtect main roofing up to the ridge!
The main roofing material is secured using “Aiji Industrial’s roof renovation screws” from the Galtect manufacturer! Since they are made of stainless steel and treated with a disco process, they are resistant to rust and provide better wind resistance compared to nails!

Once the roofing is completed up to the ridge, we will install the necessary ridge substrate to secure the ridge metal. We offer three types of ridge boards (ridge substrate): cedar, resin, and Galvalume steel, and this time we used Galvalume steel!
Galvalume steel is expected to have three times the durability compared to cedar! Unlike resin and cedar, it does not crack, providing peace of mind! We recommend choosing a ridge substrate with a durability similar to that of the new roofing material, just like the roofing sheet.
For the lower ridge (corner ridge), we will use our original integrated waste board made of Galvalume steel.

Our original integrated waste board made of Galvalume steel is highly durable, has strong fixation, and excellent wind resistance! Even if rainwater enters from the ridge, it has a mechanism to discharge rainwater to the outside, demonstrating high waterproofing! It is perfect for the ridge substrate of Super Galtect!

6. Ridge Metal and Sealing at Various Locations

Next, we will process and install the ridge cap. We will thoroughly apply sealing on the inside of the joint. At the wall edge, we will process and install a component called a rain guard metal.
We will use stainless steel nails and screws that are resistant to rust!

Unlike nails, screws with packing are less likely to come out and securely fix the ridge cap to the wood!

Although it is not visible after installation, by attaching a face plate inside the ridge cap, waterproofing is enhanced!
We will thoroughly protect the ridge, which is a critical point of the roof.

7. Cleaning

We will clean up the debris that has fallen onto the balcony and rain gutters. We will conduct a thorough cleaning as nails and metal scraps can lead to injuries. Additionally, we will wipe away any footprints left on the roof to keep it clean.

About Roofing Materials

The roofing material used is Aijii Industry’s Super Galtect.
Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
Made of SGL steel plate, it is resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly adhered from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal plate that integrates steel and insulation.
During installation, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials overlap, and the surface is coated with high heat-reflective paint, allowing for a cool summer and warm winter experience.
It also has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Additionally, it is lighter compared to other roofing materials, which reduces the sway during earthquakes, providing earthquake resistance.

Fascia Metal Cover Work & Eaves Gutter Replacement Procedure

The fascia board and the eaves (the fascia board on the side with the rain gutter) play a crucial role in preventing wind from adversely affecting your home.
During strong winds, such as those from typhoons, rain can blow in horizontally, so the fascia board and eaves help to disperse the wind, making it harder for rain carried by the wind to reach the junction between the roof and the exterior wall materials. This helps to prevent rain from blowing in.

Generally, maintenance of the fascia board and eaves (the fascia board on the side with the rain gutter) is done through “painting,” but when there is overall damage that cannot be repaired by painting, metal work is performed.
Metal work for the fascia board involves covering it with Galvalume steel sheets as part of a renovation project.
This is also referred to as metal wrapping or covering work.

This time, since there was overall deterioration, we performed metal covering work!

1. Removal of Existing Rain Gutter

The eaves (the fascia board on the side with the rain gutter) require the rain gutter to be detached, so we will remove the existing rain gutter.This time, we will be replacing the eaves gutter, so we will proceed with the removal!

2. Flat Sheet Metal Processing

We will measure the dimensions at each location and process the metal to fit the shape of the fascia and eaves.

3. Installation of Rain Gutter

We will install the removed rain gutter.This time, we will be replacing the rain gutter with a new one!

4. Cleaning and Water Flow Test

For the rain gutter, we used Panasonic/PC50. This rain gutter has a steel plate inside, giving it greater strength compared to others. Finally, we will conduct cleaning and a water flow test to complete the work.
