Rain Gutter Replacement Work Procedure in Miyamae-ku, Kawasaki City
1. Dismantling Existing Eaves Gutter and Downspout
We carefully remove the eaves gutter and brackets to avoid damaging the fascia board.
2. Installing New Eaves Brackets
We will install new eaves brackets. When installing the eaves brackets, we will use kite string or a chalk line to set the slope of the rain gutter. The slope of the rain gutter is very important!
One point to note is that due to the fascia (where the eaves brackets were attached) or the distortion of the building, even if you set the slope with the brackets, it may cause backflow. It is important to check the slope with a level against the fascia before attaching the brackets!
3. Installation of eaves gutter and vertical gutter
We will install new eaves gutters and vertical gutters!
4. Connection of vertical gutter
We will connect the vertical gutter and the eaves gutter.
5. Water flow test
Finally, we will check if water flows properly, and if there are no issues, we will clean the surrounding area and complete the job.
For the eaves gutter, we used Panasonic PC50.
Unlike Denka and Eslon rain gutters, it has a steel plate inside, which provides strength.
