Exterior Wall Painting Procedure
1. High-Pressure Washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing.
2. Masking
We use masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks to protect areas that will not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors.
This is a very important task in the painting process! If masking is neglected, gaps may form, allowing paint to seep in, or it may result in uneven lines.
3. Primer Coat
This time, we used SK Kaken’s Soft Surf SG.
Applying a solid primer coat makes a significant difference in durability and finish.
4. Intermediate Coat
We used Mizutani Paint’s Nano Composite W for the paint.
The manufacturer’s expected durability is said to be about 12 to 16 years.
Durability may vary depending on the region and sunlight exposure.
5. Top Coating
This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting.
6. Accessory Painting (Rain Gutter and Kiri-Yoke)
We will also paint the finer details.

7. Cleaning
During the dismantling of the scaffolding, we clean around the house and the balcony to ensure everything is cleaner than before the work began, striving to finish the project well!
