Joint Replacement Work Procedure
1. Removal of Existing Sealing Material
We remove the existing sealing material using a cutter or similar tools.
If it is difficult to extract, we pull it out with pliers.
2. Application of Masking Tape
To avoid applying caulking material on the exterior wall, we check the position to apply the tape and carefully attach it so that it does not dig into the surface.
3. Application of Primer
To ensure that the caulking material adheres firmly to the board, apply primer with a brush or similar tool, making sure there are no missed spots.
4. Filling the Sealant
To prevent any voids inside the joint, place the nozzle of the caulking gun against the bottom of the joint and fill it adequately.
5. Finishing with a Trowel
Press down firmly with a trowel that matches the width of the joint to achieve a smooth finish.
6. Removing the Masking Tape
Before the caulking material dries, promptly remove the masking tape after finishing.
