This is a case study of an exterior renovation at Mr. O’s residence in Ota-ku, Tokyo.

The process for this project in Ota-ku was as follows: installation of temporary scaffolding → eaves gutter replacement → exterior painting → dismantling of temporary scaffolding! Scaffolding is necessary for exterior painting and rain gutter repair/replacement!

Procedure for Gutter Replacement Work
1. Dismantling Existing Rain Gutter
2. Installing New Gutter Brackets
It is important to note that due to the fascia board (where the gutter brackets were attached) or any building distortions, even if we set the slope with the brackets, there may be backflow. It is essential to check the slope with a level against the fascia board before attaching the brackets!
3. Installing the Rain Gutter

5. Water Flow Test and Cleaning to Complete!
That concludes the process!
For the rain gutter, we used Panasonic/PC50.
It has a steel plate inside, providing strength.
