The Importance of Comparing Estimates for Exterior Painting in Kawasaki City and Key Points to Consider!

Hello! This is Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd.!

We are Kakeru Koumuten, a specialist in exterior renovations!
Our company has extensive experience in providing estimates in Kawasaki City,
and we receive many requests for exterior wall painting in Kawasaki City.
On this page, we will explain important points and comparison points to consider when obtaining an estimate for exterior wall painting!

To conclude what is most important in exterior wall painting work,
It is essential to obtain estimates from at least three companies.

Of course, when obtaining estimates, it is better if the costs are low, but deciding on a contractor based solely on the estimate cost can also be dangerous.
This is because there are many ways to cut costs, such as diluting paint beyond the recommended levels or reducing the number of coats.
Therefore, deciding on a contractor based only on cost can be risky.

To avoid regrets in exterior wall painting work, it is necessary to obtain estimates and carefully consider them.
To confidently request painting work, it is crucial to identify a trustworthy contractor.

To identify a trustworthy contractor, you must obtain estimates from contractors and consider them based on those estimates.

That said, among those who are requesting exterior wall painting work for the first time,

there are likely many who have such questions.

Therefore, in this article,

we will explain points to know when obtaining an estimate for exterior wall painting, and
the comparison points and important items in actual exterior wall painting estimates
in detail!

9 Points You Should Know When Getting an Estimate

When getting an estimate for exterior wall painting, there are nine main points to keep in mind.

1. Get estimates from more than three companies and compare them
2. Check if the contents of the estimate differ too much from other companies
3. Confirm if insurance or subsidies within Kawasaki City can be used
4. Carefully check if there is a breakdown of materials and types
5. Ensure that the details of the work are clearly defined
6. Check the warranty and after-support details
7. Confirm not only the exterior paint but also the paint for auxiliary parts and the number of coats
8. Verify if the paint is suitable for the substrate
9. Check if the painting plan considers the location and natural environment of Kawasaki City

We will explain each point in detail!

1. Get estimates from more than three companies and compare them

As I mentioned earlier, the most important thing in exterior painting work is getting multiple estimates.

Getting multiple estimates means requesting quotes from several contractors and comparing them.

There are many painting contractors, and even for the same work, the methods of construction and materials used can differ.
Therefore, the costs can vary significantly depending on the contractor you choose.

Even if the request is the same, if you decide based on just one estimate, you may not realize if you are being charged more than the market rate.
By comparing multiple companies, you can understand the appropriate scope of work and price range.
However, it is recommended not to look only at the costs in the estimates but also to check the construction methods (number of coats and cleaning methods), as well as the contractor’s track record and reviews to make a comprehensive judgment!

If you proceed without getting multiple estimates,

“There might have been a cheaper contractor…”
“I noticed the color faded earlier than the stated years…”

there is a high possibility of regret, which is why we at Kakeru Koumuten recommend getting multiple estimates to all our customers.

Some contractors may extremely dislike getting multiple estimates or may pressure you to sign a contract quickly.
Do not rush into a contract; take your time to get multiple estimates and carefully consider the contents of the quotes!

2. Check if the contents of the estimate differ too much from other companies

When getting multiple estimates, it is also important to check if the contents differ too much from other companies.

It is not uncommon for the construction area to be excessively large or the amount to be too high.
While it is not necessarily bad for there to be differences in amounts or scope of work, make sure to confirm with the contractor the clear reasons for any discrepancies with other companies.

If you find a paint you like among the proposals from each contractor, it may be helpful to ask all contractors to standardize the paint for easier comparison of the estimates.

3. Check if there is a breakdown of materials and quantities

When you receive an estimate for exterior painting from a contractor, make sure to check if there is a detailed breakdown included.

Some contractors may only list quantities as “one set”, but this does not clarify how much money is allocated to what.
If the quantities are unclear, the contractor can freely adjust the amounts, increasing the likelihood of being overcharged.

Regarding the paint, if it only states “silicone paint”, you won’t know what kind of paint will be used.
There is a wide range of silicone paints, from those with a durability of less than 10 years to those lasting about 16 years.
Since there is a possibility that a low-cost and low-durability paint may be used, make sure to check the name of the paint carefully!

I recommend contractors who clearly state how much money is being spent on what.
Contractors who provide clear pricing will give clients peace of mind when entrusting them with the work.

4. Check if grants or subsidies from Kawasaki City can be used

To reduce the cost of exterior wall painting work, make sure to check with the contractor if grants or subsidies can be utilized.

For example, using heat-insulating paint for exterior wall or roof painting may qualify for subsidies from local governments.

Using grants or subsidies requires additional procedures. Before obtaining an estimate, check with your local government to see if there are any applicable grants or subsidies in your area!

Possible subsidies and grants for exterior wall painting in Kawasaki City

In Kawasaki City, the following subsidies may be available for exterior wall painting. For more details, please contact our company or your local government. (As of June 2026)

Reiwa 7 Fiscal Year Long-term Quality Housing Renovation Promotion Project

Under the Long-term Quality Housing Renovation Promotion Project, you can receive subsidies for “housing performance improvement work” if you meet the requirements. Please check the ‘ Requirements for Receiving Subsidies ‘ for more information.

5. Confirm that the details of the work are clear

When considering a quote,
it is essential to confirm whether it aligns with your goals and requests.

For example, if you have plans to demolish the house or move within 10 years,
if you want to change the design or color,
if you are considering exterior painting due to fading or cracking,
or if you want to increase heat resistance because the interior is hot.

These are some of the reasons or concerns that may lead you to consider exterior painting.

For instance, if you are planning to move or demolish within 10 years, using a highly durable paint with a lifespan of nearly 20 years would be a waste of money.
You should consider using a lower-cost paint with a shorter lifespan or partial repairs as one of your options.
Similarly, if you are looking to improve heat resistance and insulation due to the heat, using a paint focused on aesthetics for a roof renovation would not fulfill the original purpose, making the work unnecessary.

If you want to change the design boldly, be sure to check whether color simulation is available!
Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd. offers color simulation based on actual photos of the building.

The photo on the left is of the building, and the right is the color simulation!
As you can see, various colors can be simulated.

Basically, the quote will list the processes in order, so it is necessary to check in advance how the work will proceed and to confirm any uncertainties with the contractor.

6. Check the warranty and after-support details

In case any issues arise after construction, it is recommended to choose a contractor who explains warranties and after-support in advance.
Regarding warranties, be sure to check not only the warranty period but also the details of the warranty!

How long is the warranty period? What kind of after-support is available? Let’s confirm these points at the time of the estimate.

Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd. provides a warranty for exterior wall painting and sends out annual after-maintenance direct mail.

7. Check not only the exterior wall paint but also the paint and number of coats for ancillary parts

When painting the exterior walls, it is common to also paint the ancillary parts.
Ancillary parts include “rain gutters, eaves, water drainage, fascia boards, nose boards, awnings, etc.” Each has different materials.
The materials include “wood, metal, calcium silicate, etc.” and each requires different types of primer.

There are three points to check:
・Is the rank of the ancillary paint at the desired level? (Silicone, fluorine, etc.)
・What type of primer is used for the ancillary parts?
・How many coats will be applied?

Make sure to check what paint is being used for both the exterior wall and the ancillary parts!

8. Confirm that the appropriate paint for the substrate is being used

There are various types of exterior wall materials, and it is necessary to use paint suitable for each!
If you choose paint based solely on durability and performance, you may encounter issues such as peeling or bubbling within a few years.

Be sure to check your home’s exterior wall material and use the appropriate paint!
The exterior wall materials and precautions are as follows!

〇 Ceramic siding
If it is constructed with a non-ventilated method, use a highly permeable primer and paint.
〇 Galvanized steel
Use rust prevention for the primer and solvent-based paint.
〇 Metal siding
Use a primer for the undercoat and solvent-based paint.
〇 Mortar with Jolly Pat finish
Use a sealer for the primer and specialized repair paint or high-permeability matte paint for Jolly Pat.
〇 Mortar with Risin finish
Use matte paint for the topcoat to prevent unevenness.
〇 Mortar with Stucco finish
Use a sealer for the primer and high-permeability matte paint.

9. Check the exterior painting plan that suits the location and natural environment in Kawasaki City

Choosing paint while considering the building’s location and natural environment is an important point to avoid regrets!
For example, if the location in Kawasaki City has good sunlight, it is advisable to choose paint with high heat insulation properties, while in shaded areas, paint with high mold resistance should be selected!

Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd. will propose the optimal paint considering your needs and life plans, as well as the location conditions!

【Kawasaki City】 Exterior Painting Estimate Procedure

We will explain in detail the procedure for requesting an estimate for exterior painting.

Specifically, the procedure is as follows:

1. Search for contractors operating in Kawasaki City
2. Request an estimate
3. Have a site survey conducted
4. Compare the estimates

Most contractors will generally provide this service for free, but it’s a good idea to confirm whether there are any costs involved just to be safe!

1. Research contractors operating in Kawasaki City 【Check Reviews】

Currently, most contractors have information available on the internet or on signs, so you can search there.
Additionally, when looking for contractors, it’s advisable to get multiple estimates and explore several options.
By keeping in mind the six points mentioned earlier, the chances of making a mistake will be reduced.

On the internet, there are estimate comparison sites where you can check multiple contractors at the same time, which is very convenient, but be aware that there is a 100% chance that the site’s fees will be added to the estimates.
That said, reviews and ratings make it easy to understand the quality of contractors, and contractors are aware that multiple estimates are the norm, so there are few who will present excessively high estimates.
Conversely, since it often becomes a price competition, it is also true that there is a tendency for paint to be diluted beyond regulations or for shoddy work to occur.

In other cases, advertisements may be placed on public transportation such as buses and trains, or flyers may be distributed at your home. If you’re interested, it might be worth contacting them once.

That said, narrowing down to a few companies from the many available can be quite challenging.
Therefore, I believe the most reliable method is to read reviews on Google and other platforms carefully and focus your inquiries on highly-rated companies.
Since companies cannot delete reviews on Google, they are considered trustworthy reviews.

2. Request a Quote

To narrow down quality contractors from exterior painting estimates, it is important to request quotes from at least three companies.
With only one or two companies, it becomes difficult to compare the details, increasing the likelihood of not finding a quality contractor. By obtaining estimates from three or more companies, you can compare prices, service offerings, and responsiveness, making it easier to find a contractor that suits your needs.

Additionally, when requesting multiple estimates, try to ensure that they are created under the same construction conditions.
Changing the conditions can lead to too many differences, making it hard to compare costs and construction details.

3. Have a Site Survey Conducted

Once you have requested estimates, have the contractors conduct a site survey.
Since the contractor will come to your home, be sure to ask any questions you have about the construction at that time.

Examples of questions you might want to ask include:

● Communicate your requests and future life plans
● Confirm whether the construction will be done by their own staff
● Ask where the materials will be stored and the scaffolding will be placed
● If you have preferred paint or construction methods, let them know

By checking the actual exterior walls, they can propose the most suitable materials and construction details.

4. Compare Estimates

Once you receive estimates from multiple contractors, compare their estimates.
Pay special attention to the following four points.

1. Check if the product names are listed.
2. Check if the area and unit prices are listed.
3. Check if the processes and specifications are listed.
4. Check if the paint is suitable for the existing exterior walls.

Let’s explain the specific points to be careful about.

1. Check if the product names are listed

Make sure that detailed information such as the names of the paints and materials used in the painting work is included.
If there are unclear parts, be sure to confirm them with the contractor.
If only the components like “water-based silicone” are listed, check for the product name of the paint!

2. Check if the area and unit prices are listed

Be sure to confirm that the construction area is not abbreviated as “one set.”
Contractors that provide detailed area descriptions are likely to have conducted more accurate surveys and can be trusted.

If most of the areas in the estimate are listed as “one set,” be cautious.

3. Check if the processes and specifications are listed

Also, check if detailed processes such as “scaffolding assembly” and “substrate treatment” are included.
If appropriate processes are listed, there should be at least eight items.

When the process is summarized as “painting work in general” or “accessory painting work in general” and when the product name of the paint used is not specified, it is necessary to be cautious as the details are unclear.

4. Confirm if the paint is suitable for the existing exterior wall

There are various types of exterior walls, including metal, ceramic siding, and mortar.
Mortar also has various finishing methods such as Jolly Pat finish, spray tile finish, stucco finish, and resin finish.
Depending on the type and finishing method, there are optimal undercoats and topcoats, and using the wrong materials can lead to problems.
Therefore, it is important to understand the existing exterior wall and finishing method well and confirm whether the optimal paint is being proposed.

Comparison Points for Exterior Wall Painting Estimate Items

Finally, we will introduce the items in the estimate for exterior wall painting work that must be checked!
If the items we will explain below are not included in the estimate, we recommend confirming with the contractor whether they are included in the work!

We will explain the items that must be checked when estimating exterior wall painting work!

First, we will explain the important items for exterior wall painting work in detail, step by step!

1. High-pressure washing

First, the entire exterior wall will be washed with high pressure.
It is important to wash it cleanly as there may be differences in the finish depending on the area being painted.
If the dirt is severe, bio-washing is recommended.

2. Protection

We will protect areas such as windows and sashes that may get dirty during the exterior wall painting. Let’s also confirm whether the floor (doma) will be protected!

3. Surface preparation

We will scrape off the old paint and dirt that could not be removed by washing, including repairs for cracks in the exterior wall.
We will also scrape off any rust on the metal parts.

Let’s check the methods for repairing cracks and the types of repair materials!

5. Primer

This is the first step of applying paint after high-pressure washing and substrate treatment, and it is the paint that ensures that the middle and top coats adhere well to the surface. By applying the primer properly, there will be a significant difference in durability and finish!
There are also different types of primers, so it is necessary to choose a primer suitable for the existing exterior wall and its condition.
To prevent troubles and to prolong the life of the paint film, it is essential to use a primer that matches the substrate and its condition.

Be sure to understand the condition of the substrate before confirming whether a dedicated primer is being used!

6. Middle Coat and Top Coat

Next is the middle coat. This is an important process to bring out the performance of the paint, achieve a beautiful finish, and eliminate unevenness!

Next is the top coat. This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting. We will be mindful to ensure there are no uneven areas or missed spots, resulting in a beautiful finish!

The paints for the middle and top coats have different durability and heat insulation characteristics, so it is recommended to carefully decide which paint best suits your purpose, rather than just choosing based on price.

7. Painting of Accessory Parts

Accessory parts refer to various areas other than the main parts of the building, such as the roof and exterior walls.

Like the exterior walls, the optimal painting methods and paints for accessory parts depend on the existing materials.
Please check the proposed estimate and confirm whether “is it the optimal paint?” and “what is used for the primer?” carefully.

Below, we will explain the points to check when painting accessory parts.

7-1. Eaves Ceiling (Nokiten)

The eaves ceiling (nokiten) refers to the ceiling part under the eaves of the roof.

The reason for painting the eaves ceiling is not only to enhance aesthetics but also to protect the exterior walls from rainwater and improve durability.
Since the eaves ceiling is less exposed to sunlight, it is less prone to deterioration compared to other exterior walls and the gable. However, because it is less exposed to sunlight, mold and algae can easily develop, so it is recommended to use a paint with high anti-mold properties.

Generally, it involves two coats of topcoat, but if the deterioration is severe or depending on the material, a primer may be necessary.
To prevent blistering, a low-solvent matte paint is typically used for the topcoat.

7-2. Eaves and Fascia

Eaves and fascia are the horizontal boards located at the edge of the roof’s overhang.
The fascia is the board where the rain gutter is installed!
The eaves are the boards on the opposite side of the fascia where there is no rain gutter!

The materials for eaves and fascia are generally wood or board, and occasionally metal.
They are exposed to ultraviolet rays and are prone to deterioration, so they are often painted along with the exterior walls.

The painting method involves preparing the surface by scraping the existing paint, followed by a primer suitable for the substrate, and then applying two topcoats, resulting in a total of three coats.

〇 For Wood
After applying a primer for wood, two coats of a weak solvent-based paint are applied. Using a wood primer as the base coat helps prevent unevenness and improves durability.

〇 For Board Material
After using a cationic sealer as a primer, two coats of weak solvent-based paint are applied.
Cationic sealers not only enhance adhesion but also penetrate the material to increase surface strength, thereby improving durability.

〇 For Metal Material
Depending on the condition, either rust prevention paint or primer is used as a base coat, followed by two coats of weak solvent-based paint.
If rust is present, rust prevention paint is used, while for galvanized steel, which is less prone to rust, primer is used to ensure paint adhesion.

Understand the existing condition and material to confirm the number of coats and type of primer to be used!

7-3. Rain Gutter

The rain gutter is the part that collects rainwater from the roof and directs it to the ground.

Since rain gutters are originally made from durable materials, there is no problem if they are not painted.
However, many people prefer to have them painted at the same time as exterior wall painting for aesthetic maintenance and to prevent deterioration.

The painting method involves using weak solvent-based paint for two coats, as the basic material is PVC, which is not very resistant to ultraviolet rays. (The inside of the eaves’ receptacle is not painted.)

7-4. Fascia Board and Band

The fascia board, also known as the band, is a board-like component typically located at the boundary between the first and second floors of a building.

The purpose of painting the fascia board is primarily to enhance aesthetics.
If there are concerns about dirt or damage, it is advisable to paint it.

The painting method involves applying a primer suitable for the substrate, followed by two coats of weak solvent-based paint.

7-5. Cap Flashing

Cap flashing refers to the finishing material installed on the upper horizontal surfaces of balconies, verandas, and parapets. Cap flashing is a component used for waterproofing.

The main role is to provide waterproof functionality. Of course, it is also installed to match the design of the exterior!

The painting method involves applying a primer suitable for the substrate, followed by two coats of weak solvent-based paint.
(If the existing cap flashing is aluminum, basic painting is not possible.)

7-6. Door Frames and Shutters

Rain shutters are wooden doors installed on the outside of windows.
The shutter box is the part where these rain shutters are stored when opened.

The role of rain shutters is to prevent rain, wind, and direct sunlight from directly hitting the windows.
When performing exterior wall painting, we generally recommend painting the rain shutters and shutter boxes as well.
This is because, like the exterior walls and roof, they are constantly exposed to rain, wind, and direct sunlight, making them prone to deterioration. If deterioration progresses and they rot, it can lead to cases of water leakage.

The painting method involves applying two coats of a weak solvent-based paint after a primer. Rust prevention is used for the primer.

7-7. Shutter Box

The shutter box is the part where the shutter is stored.

Due to aging, the surface paint film can peel off, causing discoloration.
Therefore, we recommend painting at the same time as the exterior wall painting for waterproofing and aesthetic improvement.

The painting method involves applying two coats of a weak solvent-based paint after a primer that corresponds to the substrate.

7-8. Water Cutting

Water cutting metal is a component that protects the building from rain and water.
Its role is to prevent rain from entering the building.

If the water cutting is made of steel (iron), maintenance through painting will be necessary.
Some contractors may not include water cutting in their estimates, so if it’s not included, it might be a good idea to check with your representative.

The painting method involves applying two coats of a weak solvent-based paint after a primer that corresponds to the substrate.

8. Removal and Reattachment of Slim Duct

The slim duct is a cover that protects the air conditioning hose.
Since the slim duct is closely attached to the exterior wall, it cannot be properly painted without removing it.
Additionally, if the slim duct is painted without removal, it may become stuck due to the paint and not open, so the slim duct must always be removed for painting.

Points to Note When Performing Exterior Wall Painting

When performing exterior wall painting, points to note include:

Whether the paint used is suitable for the existing substrate material

Below, we will explain what kind of paint should be used.

Check if the paint is suitable for the existing substrate

When performing exterior wall painting, the type of original substrate affects whether painting is appropriate and what types of paint can be used.

If you apply an unsuitable paint, the construction effort may end up being a “waste,” so caution is necessary!
Below, we will explain the points to consider when performing exterior wall painting.

Points to consider for fiber cement siding

Is the existing siding installed using a ventilation method?

Currently, standard siding is typically installed using a ventilation method, but buildings constructed before the 2000s may have been installed using a direct application method.
If installed using the direct application method, replacing the siding is the safest option, but if you choose to paint, it is necessary to use highly breathable paint.
The use of elastic paint is not allowed.
Undercoating with fillers or surfacers is alsonot allowed.

Is the existing siding difficult to adhere to?

Photocatalytic (difficult-to-adhere siding) will have the paint film peeling off within a few years if painted using standard methods.
If the existing exterior wall is difficult-to-adhere siding, the use of standard sealers or surfacers for undercoating is not allowed, so it is necessary to use an undercoat suitable for difficult-to-adhere siding.
When applying a clear coat to the siding, it is also necessary to choose clear paint suitable for difficult-to-adhere siding.

Points to consider for mortar exterior walls

Spray tile

Spray tile is often applied to mortar exterior walls.
It is a material that generally has fewer issues during replacement.
Due to its uneven surface, dirt tends to accumulate, so thorough cleaning is important.
For undercoating, a filler type that prevents cracking is recommended.
For paint, an elastic type that is resistant to cracking and easy to clean with a glossy finish is recommended.

Risin

Risin is made by mixing aggregates (finely crushed stone) with resin and cement.
It is characterized by a rough texture and a matte appearance.
It has the disadvantage of being prone to cracking and getting dirty easily.
For undercoating, a filler type that prevents cracking is recommended.
Since painting risin with a glossy finish can lead to unevenness, it is recommended to use matte paint.
However, since matte paint tends to get dirty easily, it is advisable to use paint with high dirt resistance.

Stucco

Stucco is a material made by mixing lime, cement, and sand, and it has more texture than Lysin.
When repainting, deep textures can release heat and moisture, making it prone to problems such as blistering.
Elastic type paints are not recommended.
Using filler-type for the primer is not recommended, and the primer should be a cationic sealer.
The topcoat must also be applied with a high permeability paint that is a matte finish.

Jolly Pad Type Exterior Walls

Jolly Pad is a product name from Aica Kogyo, and Bell Art from SK Kaken and Granada from Kikusui Chemical Industry are made from the same material.
Since blistering problems can also occur here, using filler or surfacer for the primer is not recommended.
A cationic sealer should be used for the primer.
The topcoat must be painted with a high permeability paint or a repair paint specifically for Jolly Pad exterior walls.

Points to Note for Metal Exterior Walls

Galvanized Steel

Before painting, thoroughly remove old paint and rust through washing and scraping.
For the primer, apply an anti-rust or primer-type coating to prevent rust and enhance adhesion.
Water-based paints cannot be used for the topcoat, so solvent-based paints are used.

Metal Siding

Similar to galvanized steel exterior walls, paint after thoroughly scraping following high-pressure washing.
Since many materials are made of Galvalume steel, a highly adhesive primer-type coating is necessary.
The appropriate primer includes Nippon Paint’s Perfect Primer or Mitchakuron.
Water-based paints cannot be used for the topcoat, so solvent-based paints are used.

Scraping (Surface Preparation) for Metal Siding and Galvanized Steel

By removing rust and intentionally scratching the paint surface, adhesion is enhanced.
This is one of the most important processes when painting iron parts.

What is the Gloss of Exterior Wall Paint?

Paint can be selected in up to 5 levels of gloss

Even with the same color and paint, the gloss can be adjusted!
*Some paints do not allow for gloss adjustment.

Characteristics of Glossy and Matte Paints

Features of Glossy Paint
It provides a shiny texture, giving a brilliance similar to that of a new building.
For those who prefer a glossy finish.
For those who want to emphasize weather resistance.
For those who prefer exterior walls that are less prone to dirt.

Features of Matte Paint
It offers a matte texture, creating a soft atmosphere.
For those who are concerned about glossiness.
For those who want to emphasize aesthetics.

Glossy paint is said to have a durability of 2 to 3 years longer compared to matte paint.
Additionally, glossy paint is less prone to dirt accumulation, which is a significant difference.
Since gloss diminishes over time, glossy paint is recommended unless you have a strong preference for matte finishes!
※ The smoother the surface, the less dirt will adhere.

Comparison Points for Sealing Work Estimates

1. Removal of Existing Joints

First, we will remove the existing sealing using a cutter or similar tool.

2. Protection

Similar to exterior wall painting, we will use masking tape to protect areas that will not be painted.
This is a crucial point for achieving clean lines.
Basically, for vertical joints, protection is needed on both sides, and for horizontal joints, it is needed above and below, so the quantity of sealing will double.

3. Primer Application

This is a material applied to enhance the adhesion of the seal, and it is applied to the areas where the seal will be placed.

4. Application of New Sealant

Sealing is done to fill the joints (gaps) between exterior walls.

The necessary confirmation for this item is the type of sealing material.
Sealing materials also have a durability range, from approximately 10 years to 30 years.

↓ About high-durability sealant with a durability of 30 years

Auton Exceed

SR Seal H100

This sealing material can often lead to leaks if it deteriorates, so it is best to use a highly durable product!
Since the number of sealing locations on the roof is not that many, using a highly durable sealant does not result in a significant cost difference, so we recommend using a highly durable sealant.

As shown in the table above, there is a significant difference in the durability years between general sealing materials and highly durable sealing materials!

Summary

Finally, here are six key points to pay special attention to when getting an estimate for exterior wall painting work.

1. Obtain multiple estimates and compare them with other companies
2. Check if the contents of the estimate differ too much from other contractors
3. Confirm whether insurance or subsidies can be used
4. Carefully check if there is a breakdown of the types of materials used
5. Ensure that the scope of work is clearly defined
6. Verify the details of warranties and after-sales support
7. Check not only the exterior wall paint but also the paint for auxiliary parts and the number of coats.

For roofing, guttering, and exterior work and repairs in Kanagawa, contact Kakerukoumuten Co., Ltd..

AAA is a young company with an average age in the early 20s, but our technology is second to none.

One of our greatest strengths is that we can do all of our own scaffolding, roofing, and painting work. In this industry, where work is generally divided, we are able to provide a complete set of services, which saves time and effort in management and reduces costs. Above all, if there is any trouble, we will come to you right away!

We can confidently declare this. We are the youngest and most friendly renovator in Kanagawa!
