Main Exterior Materials of Daiwa House

DX Wall is a ceramic siding board similar to the DC Wall used in the “xevo” series of Daiwa House steel houses. The surface of DX Wall is coated with a paint that incorporates a light catalyst called KIRARI+. The light catalyst decomposes organic dirt that adheres to the surface when exposed to ultraviolet light. It features a self-coating function that lifts and removes dirt, resulting in a highly maintainable exterior wall.

Additionally, its lifespan is short, and its waterproofing ability is lower compared to other roofing materials, so maintenance such as roof painting or roof overlay is required.

Since Daiwa House uses a lot of steel frames, the heat bridge phenomenon can easily cause discoloration and deterioration of the exterior walls, leading customers to feel that there might be “issues” after painting.
