Replacement of Entrance Siding Eaves

1. Removal of Existing Siding

First, we will remove the existing siding and eaves.

2. Installation of Siding

Next, we will install the new siding and eaves. The siding used this time is Nichiha/Grain Wood V!

3. Completion of Entrance Siding and Eaves Replacement

The installation of the exterior wall and eaves is complete, and the work in front of the entrance is temporarily finished!

Procedure for Replacing Joints

1. Removal of Existing Sealing Material

We will remove the existing sealing material using a cutter or similar tools.
This is referred to as sealing, caulking, or jointing. It is a crucial area that can easily lead to water leaks and cause cracking or lifting of the siding. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

2. Protection (Masking Tape Application)

We will check the position for applying the tape and carefully attach it to avoid any embedding into the surface.

3. Application of Primer

We will apply the primer with a brush or similar tool, ensuring there are no missed spots.

What is primer: It acts like an adhesive! It is commonly used for surface preparation! It is an essential step in sealing work, as it enhances adhesion!

4. Filling with Sealing Material

We will place the nozzle of the caulking gun at the bottom of the joint and fill it adequately. The caulking material used is SR Seal H100.

5. Finishing with a Trowel

With a spatula that matches the joint width of

, we press firmly and finish smoothly.

6. Removal of Masking Tape

We promptly remove the masking tape after finishing. At this point, the color of the sealing material is slightly raised, but we will finish it with the same color as the exterior wall afterward!

Exterior Wall Painting Procedure

1. High-Pressure Washing

We thoroughly remove dirt and moss from the exterior wall with high-pressure washing!

2. Protection of Areas

We protect areas that will not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks. This is a very important task in the painting work! If protection is neglected, gaps in the protection may allow paint to seep in, or clean lines may not be achieved.

3. Primer Coat

This is the first application of paint after high-pressure washing and substrate treatment, which allows the middle and top coats to adhere firmly to the painted surface. By applying the primer coat properly, there will be a significant difference in durability and finish! The primer material used also has substrate adjustment functions, so it can seal fine cracks!

4. Middle Coat

To bring out the performance of

5. Top Coat
