Joint Replacement Construction Steps

1. Removal of Existing Sealing Material

Remove the existing sealing material using a cutter or similar tool.
This is referred to as sealing, caulking, or jointing. It is a critical area that can easily lead to water leaks and cause cracking or lifting of the siding. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

2. Application of Masking Tape

Check the position for applying the tape and carefully stick it on to avoid any overlap on the surface.

3. Application of Primer

Apply the primer with a brush or similar tool, ensuring there are no missed spots.

4. Filling with Sealing Material

Next, we will apply the sealing. The sealing material used this time is SR Seal H100! SR Seal H100 is a modified silicone-based sealing material that offers high durability and weather resistance. The durability is approximately 30 years.

5. Trowel Finishing

Use a trowel that matches the joint width to press firmly and finish smoothly.

6. Removal of Masking Tape

Remove the masking tape promptly after finishing.

Exterior Wall Painting Construction Procedure

1. High-Pressure Washing

First, we will thoroughly remove dirt and moss from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing! If dirt remains, it can affect the adhesion and durability of the paint, so we wash carefully. We will also wash the exterior structures, floor, and inside the rain gutters. This time, we used bio-washing!

2. Preparation of Surrounding Areas

We will protect areas that will not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks. This is a very important task in the painting process!

Neglecting preparation can create gaps in the protection, allowing paint to seep in or resulting in uneven lines.

3. Surface Preparation

Next, we will perform substrate adjustments such as crack repairs while checking the condition of the exterior walls.

4. Primer

This is the first step of applying paint after completing high-pressure washing and substrate treatment. It is a paint that ensures the middle and top coats adhere well to the surface. By applying the primer thoroughly, there will be a significant difference in durability and finish!

The paint used is SK Kaken / SD Surf Epoxy Premium.

5. Middle Coat

Next is the middle coat. This is an important process to bring out the performance of the paint, achieve a beautiful finish, and eliminate uneven application!

The paint used is SK Kaken / Premium Silicon. The manufacturer’s expected durability is about 14 to 16 years.

6. Top Coat

Next is the top coat. This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting. We will ensure that there are no uneven areas or missed spots, aiming for a beautiful finish!

The paint used is the same as the middle coat, SK Kaken / Premium Silicon.

7. Painting of Auxiliary Parts (Fascia, Nose Hiding, Eaves, Wooden Frames, Soffit)

After completing the surface preparation such as scraping for the

auxiliary parts, for iron parts, we apply a rust preventive Lock Paint / Sabicut as a primer, followed by a middle coat and top coat with Lock Paint / Yumelock. We ensure to paint every detail thoroughly!
