Roof Painting Work Procedure
1. High-pressure washing
We thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the roof using high-pressure washing.
2. Surface protection
We protect areas that will not be painted, such as rain gutters, using masking tape and poly masks.
This is an important step.
3. Substrate treatment and crack repair
We repair any cracks.
4. Primer
This time, we used Nippon Paint’s Hypone Fine Deco.
Applying a solid primer makes a difference in durability and finish.
5. Intermediate coat
We used Nippon Paint’s Fine Perfect Best for the paint.
The durability is said to be about 10 to 12 years.
Durability may vary depending on sunlight exposure.
6. Top coat
This is the finishing touch for the roof painting.
7. Cleaning
That concludes the process.
The roof painting in light gray turned out beautifully!
