Repointing of Stucco

1. Preparation Work

First, we will prepare the area around the stucco! If this preparation is not done properly, the finish will not be clean! We will take care to protect the flat tiles from dirt.

2. Removal of Existing Stucco

3. Application of New Stucco

We will fill the dismantled areas with new stucco. It is important to fill it tightly without gaps and to smooth it out using a trowel.

4. Cleaning

 

We will collect and clean up any pieces of stucco or debris that have fallen onto the balcony or ground. We will conduct thorough cleaning.

5. Completion of Repointing

 

The masking tape and protective covering have been removed, and the work is complete!

Type of plaster used

The plaster used for this project is “Nanban plaster”　Silguard, black!

It contains a special waterproofing material that reduces the waterproof rate. There are two colors available, including white!

To extend the lifespan of the tiles, maintenance of the plaster is necessary.

If the plaster deteriorates, it can lead to leaks throughout the house, so if it has been over 20 years, we recommend maintenance!
