Roof Overlay (Cover Method) Construction Steps

3. Installing Roofing (Waterproof Sheet)
Next, we will install the roofing sheet (waterproof sheet)! The roofing used is Tajima Roofing / New Liner Roofing!
This underlayment boasts unparalleled waterproofing and durability, representing the highest quality. By sandwiching a modified asphalt layer between non-woven fabric and base paper, it fully exhibits the inherent performance of modified asphalt.
The expected durability is about 30 years! [/chat]
4. Fabrication of Accessories (Karakusa and Keraba)
The accessories used are made of SGL steel plate. The ridge board at the peak is made of Galvalume steel plate, which has about three times the durability (approximately 35 years) compared to cedar boards. Using resin or cedar boards would result in lower durability than Super Galtect, so Galvalume steel plates that match the durability are recommended! We will also insert a waste board at the eaves to enhance waterproofing!

For the wall edge, we will process and install a component called a rain guard metal.
The screws used for fixing are stainless steel with packing, ensuring high waterproofing!

About the Roofing Material
The roofing material used is Aijii Industry’s Super Galttect.
Super Galttect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
Made of SGL steel plate, it is resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly applied from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal plate that integrates steel and insulation.
When installed, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials overlap, and the surface is coated with high heat-reflective paint, allowing for a cool summer and warm winter.
Additionally, it has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Being lighter than other roofing materials, it also minimizes the sway during earthquakes, serving as an earthquake countermeasure.
It excels in finish, durability, insulation, soundproofing, and wind resistance, and our company’s construction record shows that Aijii Industry’s Super Galttect is the most frequently used and highly regarded!
