Ridge Cap Metal Replacement Procedure
The ridge cap metal is the metal that wraps around areas on the roof, such as the peak, where roofing materials cannot cover.
It is susceptible to damage from wind disasters and can also cause leaks.
1. Dismantling Existing Ridge Cap
It is recommended to replace the wooden batten inside every 10 to 15 years.
When the ridge cap metal is removed, there is a batten inside.
2. Installation of New Purlins

Procedure for Gutter Replacement Work
1. Dismantling Existing Gutters
2. Installation of new eaves brackets
It is important to note that due to the fascia (where the eaves brackets were attached) and any distortions in the building, even if we set the slope with the brackets, there may be backflow. It is essential to check the slope with a level against the fascia before attaching the brackets!
3. Installation of the eaves gutter
4. Connection to the downspout
5. Water flow test, cleaning, and completion!
For the eaves gutter, we used Panasonic/PC50.
It has strength due to the steel plate inside.
