Roof Overlay Construction Procedure
1. Existing Ridge and Snow Stops Demolition
2. Roofing Installation (Waterproof Sheet)
It is made of modified asphalt roofing, which is said to have twice the lifespan of regular asphalt roofing.
As a primary waterproofing measure, if the roofing is solid, there will be no leaks!
We will ensure it is firmly installed so it won’t blow away!
3. Component Processing (Curly, Eaves, Valley)
The components used are genuine Galtect components made of SGL copper plate!
4. Main Construction (Aiji Industry/Super Galtect)
Once the roofing is completed up to the ridge, we will install necessary materials called “nuki” to secure the ridge flashing. There are types of nuki made from cedar and resin, and this time we used cedar!
5. Ridge Flashing Processing & Sealing
The nails and screws used for securing are made of stainless steel, which is resistant to rust!
6. Cleaning
About Roofing Materials
The roofing material used is the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial.
The Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
Made of SGL steel plate, it is resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly applied from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal plate that integrates the steel plate and insulation.
When installed, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials interlock, and the surface is coated with a highly heat-resistant paint, allowing for a cool summer and a warm winter.
It also has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Additionally, it is lightweight compared to other roofing materials, which minimizes the sway during earthquakes, providing earthquake resistance.
It excels in finish, durability, insulation, soundproofing, and wind resistance, and the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial is the most commonly used in our construction projects and is receiving significant attention!
