Roof Overlay Construction Procedure
1. Temporary Removal of Solar Panels
2. Installing Roofing (Waterproof Sheet)
This material is modified asphalt roofing, which is said to have double the durability of regular asphalt roofing.
If the roofing is properly installed as a primary waterproofing layer, there will be no leaks! We will secure it with steel plate chips to prevent it from blowing away.
3. Fabrication of Accessories (Kera and Karakusa)
The materials used for these accessories are galvalume steel.
4. Main Construction (Deez Roofing/Diplomat Star)
Once we have installed it up to the ridge, we will place the necessary materials to secure the ridge board known as the kanban. There are various types of kanban including cedar, resin, and Galvalume copper plates, and this time we used a resin type!
The resin type is expected to have 2 to 3 times the durability compared to the cedar type!
5. Ridge Cap and Sealing at Various Locations
We will process and install the rain guard metal at the wall edge! We will waterproof the gap between the rain guard metal and the exterior wall with sealing after applying primer!
We will use stainless steel nails and screws that are resistant to rust for fixing!

About Roofing Materials
The roofing material used is the Diplomat Star from Deez Roofing.
Deez Roofing comes with a 30-year warranty on the base material.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
It uses zinc-aluminum steel, which has the same composition as galvanized steel, known for its rust resistance.
Deez Roofing reduces heat conduction to the steel layer due to the effect of the surface stone granules. This structure makes it more difficult for heat to transfer to the attic compared to other roofing materials, as it secures a sufficient air layer between the roofing material and the roof substrate.
Additionally, the unevenness of the surface stone granules helps to disperse raindrops, resulting in smaller impacts compared to a regular smooth surface. Consequently, the high-frequency noise caused by the micro-vibrations of the steel plate when raindrops hit, which is often referred to as the “loud noise” of steel roofs, can be suppressed by the natural stone granule layer on the surface.This is possible.
By adopting the “interlocking method” that integrates the roofing materials, it boasts performance that can withstand winds of up to 60m/s, as well as excellent fire resistance and waterproofing.
