The role of the keraba is to be installed at the edges of the building’s roof and on both sides of the ridge, serving both a decorative function and protecting the building from wind and rain! The materials used for the custom pieces will be Galvalume steel.

4. Main Construction (Asahi Fiberglass/Ridgeway)

After processing the components, we will install the Ridgeway main body up to the ridge!
Once the installation reaches the ridge, we will set up a material called a “nakanita” to secure the ridge cap. There are types of nakanita made from cedar, resin, and Galvalume copper plate, and this time we used cedar due to cost considerations!

5. Processing of Ridge Cap and Sealing at Various Locations

We will process and install the ridge cap. We will thoroughly apply sealing on the inside of the joints.
At the wall edge, we will process and install a component called a rain guard metal.
The nails and screws used for fixing are made of stainless steel, which is resistant to rust!

6. Cleaning

We will clean up the debris that has fallen onto the balcony and rain gutters. We will conduct a thorough cleaning to prevent injuries from nails and metal scraps.
