This is a case study of exterior renovation work in Asao-ku, Yokohama!
The work this time involved concrete and exterior construction!

We removed the existing blocks and foundation, and installed new foundation, blocks, and a fence!
We also relocated the gate!

Fence Installation Work Procedure

1. Removal of Existing Block Wall

First, we will remove the existing block wall. We entered the neighboring property to carry out the work! Thank you for your cooperation<m(__)m>

2. Core Drilling Work

Next, we will use a core drilling machine to create holes in the existing block wall for the fence posts. While drilling, we will flow water to prevent sparks and broken concrete from scattering.

3. Installation of Fence Posts

Fill the holes in the blocks with mortar slightly lower than the top edge, insert the posts, and use a level to ensure they are vertical.
Be careful not to move them too much, as this will loosen the mortar; adjust with minimal movement.
Once all the posts are installed, we will repair the top edges around the posts and finish the top edges of the blocks with mortar.

4. Installation of the Fence Body

Finally, we will install the fence. The fence used in the above photo is the Lixil/Mesh Fence A Brown.

This fence is the Sankyo Aluminum/Shatoren II Type 3!

Both have been beautifully finished!

Concrete Work Procedure for the Ground

1. Removal of Existing Plants

This time, we will be converting the area with the plants into a concrete floor, so we will remove them from the base.

2. Laying Crushed Stone

This process involves laying crushed stone and compacting it from above. This step is essential to prevent sinking after the concrete is poured. It also serves to eliminate surface irregularities and ensure a flat finish.

3. Installing the Formwork

Next is the installation of the formwork. The shape of the concrete will be determined by this formwork.

4. Installing Wire Mesh

Next, we will lay down the wire mesh. By doing this, the strength of the concrete will increase.

5. Pouring the Concrete

Once the wire mesh is installed, we will pour the concrete using a trowel and compact it.

6. Finishing Work

Finally, we will level the surface before the concrete hardens. Once the surface is nicely finished and solidified, the concrete flooring work will be completed!
