The existing roofing material is Colonial Quad. Since there was little warping or cracking, we proposed roof painting.

Roof Painting Construction Procedure

1. Cleaning and Surface Preparation

First, we thoroughly remove moss and dirt from the roof using high-pressure washing and scraping. The white foam is from the bio-cleaning process!

2. Protecting Surrounding Areas

Next, we protect areas that will not be painted, such as the rain gutters, using masking tape and poly masks.
This is an important task.

3. Surface Adjustment and Rust Prevention for Metal Parts

Next, we perform surface preparation and apply rust prevention to the metal sheets and snow guards.

4. Primer Application

Next, applying a solid base coat will make a difference in durability and finish. The base coat used is the Perfect Best Reinforced Sealer.

5. Installation of Spacer

Next, after the base coat, spacers are inserted between the roofing materials to ensure a pathway for rainwater and moisture to escape.

6. Intermediate Coating

Next is the intermediate coating. The paint used is Rock Paint’s Hyper Yume Lock Roof in silver.
The durability is said to be about 12 to 15 years. The durability may vary depending on environmental factors.

7. Top Coating

Next is the top coating. This is the finishing touch for the roof painting. The silver color has high reflectivity, which is expected to provide heat insulation.

8. Cleaning

Finally, we will clean up any debris that has fallen and finish the job!
