Aoba-ku, Yokohama | We Installed Illumination in Front of the Store!

Hello! This is Kakeru Koumuten!

We have set up and decorated illumination in front of our showroom!
It was installed from the end of last year until around March, and we were delighted to hear from passersby who stopped to take photos and commented that they saw it!
We will be sharing the process from before the illumination was installed to its completion, so please take a look if you’re interested!

Illumination Installation Process

1. Foundation Construction – Framework

First, we create a foundation for the decoration using rafters!
We will slope it to prevent water from accumulating!

2. Installing Sheathing

Next, we will install the sheathing! We cut and attach the sheathing to dimensions that prevent water from flowing in, hiding the wiring for the decorations inside!

3. Installing Roofing Sheet & Fabricating Components

We will install the roofing sheet and fabricate components such as decorative metal (drainage) that are also done before the main roofing work! The roofing sheet is waterproof, preventing leaks!

4. Installing Artificial Grass

We will be installing artificial grass! The decorative wiring can be hidden inside the artificial grass, enhancing its appearance!

5. Illumination Decoration

We will install electric lights and garlands, and decorate with ornaments!
The more ornaments we add, the more vibrant it became!!
We set a timer to ensure it lights up only at night!
