Roof Replacement Construction Procedure

1. Solar Panel Removal

We will dismantle the solar panels and the mounting brackets. The removed solar panels will be disposed of by our company!

2. Existing Roofing Material Dismantling

We will dismantle the existing roofing materials! After removing the ridge tiles, we will dismantle the plaster and flat tiles. After dismantling the tiles, we will also remove the wooden battens that hold the remaining tiles.

3. New Sheathing Installation

Once the existing roofing materials are dismantled, we will process and install new sheathing according to the dimensions!

4. Roofing Installation (Waterproof Sheet)

Next, we will install the roofing sheet (waterproof sheet)! The roofing used isTajima Roofing/New Line Roofing! This is a top-quality underlayment that boasts unmatched waterproofing and durability. By sandwiching the modified asphalt layer between non-woven fabric and base paper, it fully demonstrates the performance of the modified asphalt.The expected durability is about 30 years!

5. Fabrication of Accessories (Karakusa and Keraba)

Before the main roof construction, we will fabricate and install accessories such as keraba and karakusa!
The materials used for the accessories will be SGL steel plate.

6. Main Construction (Aiji Industrial/Super Galtect)

After the accessory fabrication, we will install the Galtect main body up to the ridge! After the accessory fabrication, we will install the Galtect main body up to the ridge!
The fasteners used for the Galtect main body are genuine stainless steel renovation screws from Aiji Industrial!
Once the installation reaches the ridge, we will install necessary materials called “kanbari” to secure the ridge flashing. We offer three types of kanbari: cedar, resin, and galvalume steel, and this time we used galvalume steel!
Galvalume steel is expected to have three times the durability compared to cedar! Unlike resin or cedar, it does not crack, providing peace of mind!

Our original integrated waste board made of galvalume steel is highly durable, has strong fixation, and excellent wind resistance! Even if rainwater enters from the ridge, it has a mechanism to discharge rainwater to the outside, demonstrating high waterproof performance! It is perfect for the Super Galtect ridge base!

7. Processing of Ridge Flashing and Sealing at Various Points

We will process and install the ridge flashing. To enhance waterproofing, we will install a face plate on the inside of the ridge! We will thoroughly apply sealing on the inside of the joints.
The screws used for fixation are made of rust-resistant stainless steel with waterproof packing!

Packings with screws are less likely to come loose compared to nails, firmly securing the ridge cap to the purlin!

Although it’s not visible after installation, installing a face plate on the inside of the ridge cap enhances waterproofing!
It effectively protects the ridge, which is a critical part of the roof.

8. Cleaning

After the roof construction, we will clean up any debris that has fallen onto the balcony or rain gutter. We thoroughly remove items like nails and metal fragments that could cause injuries. Additionally, we will wipe away any footprints left on the roof to ensure it looks clean.

About Roofing Materials

The roofing material used is the Super Galtect from Aiji Industrial.
The Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
Our company also provides a 10-year construction warranty!
Made of SGL steel plate, it is resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly applied from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal plate that integrates steel and insulation. During installation, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials hook together, and the surface is coated with a high heat-insulating paint, allowing for a cool summer and warm winter experience.
Additionally, it has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
