Reasons Why Kakeru Koumuten is Chosen for Solar Panel Installations in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
Regarding why our company is entrusted with solar panel installations by customers in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo,
“Our strengths in solar panel installation that cannot be imitated by other companies”
are well received by many customers.
so we would appreciate it if you could compare our estimates with those of other companies.
We are confident, and we welcome estimates from any number of companies!
1. We also handle exterior renovations other than solar panel installations!

Most troubles such as leaks caused by solar panel installations are due to the lack of knowledge of the solar panel installation contractors.
While contractors specializing in solar panel installations have knowledge about the panels themselves, many lack expertise regarding the roof and waterproofing at the installation site.
For peace of mind and to avoid maintenance issues or troubles after installation, it is better to have a thorough understanding of roofing!
Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd. is strong in roofing work and can also detach and attach solar panels in-house, allowing us to respond quickly to maintenance and urgent troubles after solar panel installation!
2. Equipment specialized for exterior renovations
At Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd., we have prepared the following warehouses and material storage areas to provide low-cost, high-quality solar work and exterior renovations.
We have established five bases for material storage and showrooms.
In-house ownership of scaffolding materials

We own the scaffolding materials necessary for the installation of solar panels, allowing us to set up scaffolding in-house.
By performing scaffolding work with our own scaffolding team instead of outsourcing, we can also reduce the costs associated with scaffolding work.
We have scaffolding materials for approximately 50 single-family homes!
Storage of materials in our large in-house warehouse

We store roofing materials and paints, and we can also store removed solar panels.
By ordering a large quantity of materials at once, you can purchase materials at a lower cost!
Additionally, we always have a stock of roofing materials, so we can respond quickly in emergencies!
Separation and transportation of waste materials in-house
The installation of solar panels often involves roofing work, generating various types of waste materials such as paint, wood, and metal.
Most contractors dispose of these materials all together, but by sorting and recycling the waste, significant cost savings on waste disposal can be achieved.
Exterior Renovation Dedicated Showroom

In our showroom, not only can you have meetings, but you can also
check the actual foundation brackets for solar panels and see how they are installed on the roofing materials!
We can also provide simulations for the potential earnings and costs associated with installing solar panels!
Since roofing and exterior wall work often accompany each other, we have samples of roofing materials and models that show the structure, allowing us to provide detailed explanations!
3.Complete In-House Construction
One of Kakeru Koumuten’s major strengths is our complete in-house construction.
From inquiry to project completion, everything is handled by Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd. This allows us to keep costs down while providing high-quality roof renovations.
Additionally, one representative will assist you from the estimate to the completion of the work.
Since the same person will handle sales and construction management, smooth communication is possible.
We can provide consistent in-house construction from temporary scaffolding installation to exterior wall painting and roof renovations!
4. Various Permits Obtained & Skilled Workers on Staff

We have obtained construction industry permits and permits for industrial waste collection and transportation!
We also have nationally certified sheet metal workers and painting specialists on staff, giving us confidence in our construction techniques.
We are capable of handling large-scale roofing projects such as those for factories!
5. Warranty and Aftercare
In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty for solar panel installation, we also provide our own rain leak warranty!
Aftercare is available annually, and we send out notification DM each year.
If you have questions about the warranty, please click on the image above!
6. Flexible and Prompt Response
Our company is equipped to handle various roofing troubles and situations.
If you cannot access the roof due to height, we can utilize a drone to assist!
During rain leak investigations, we can also conduct inspections using a thermal imaging camera.
If the power generation of the solar panels decreases due to dirt, we can provide cleaning with a specialized brush.
We will respond according to your preferences.
7. Human Resource Development
We create various roof models to enhance skills and conduct practical training.
Since the construction methods vary depending on the shape and slope of the roof, we regularly provide technical training to ensure that all staff can handle various scenarios.

| I am considering the installation of solar panels and storage batteries. I have heard that subsidies are available, and I would like to know how much subsidy I can receive. |
Our Proposal
We visited to provide an estimate and created a layout diagram for the solar panels based on the drawings!
The layout diagram shows the arrangement of solar panels when placed on the roof.
It also allows us to understand the installation capacity, enabling power generation simulations and financial simulations.
We have determined the expected amount of subsidies, so we explained this to the customer along with the estimate!
How to Choose a Solar Panel Installation Contractor in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
There are many solar panel installation contractors available in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and it can be confusing to choose the right one.
Therefore, when requesting solar panel installation or storage battery installation work, be sure to check the following 4 points.
● Knowledgeable not only about solar panels but also about roofs
● Confirm the presence of warranties and aftercare services
● Obtain estimates from multiple contractors (at least 3 companies)
● Check if they provide support for subsidy applications
By confirming the above 4 points, you will be able to choose a reliable contractor.
Knowledge of roofing in addition to solar panels
Many causes of poor installation of solar panels stem from a lack of knowledge on the part of the contractor.
While knowledge about solar panels is certainly important, understanding the roof and waterproofing at the installation site is also crucial.
⚠︎Examples of troubles caused by contractor’s lack of knowledge
・Solar panels were installed on a severely deteriorated roof, leading to leaks.
・Solar panels were installed on a roof with a short lifespan, necessitating a costly removal and reinstallation within a few years.
・Incorrect waterproofing treatment was applied due to misjudgment of the type, resulting in leaks.
and more
When installing solar panels, understanding the condition and type of the existing roof allows you to avoid unnecessary expenses and unexpected troubles.
Confirm the presence of warranties and aftercare services
When choosing a solar installation contractor, make sure to check for warranties.
While solar panels and batteries come with manufacturer warranties, it is also important to confirm whether there is a construction warranty in case leaks occur after installation!
If the contractor offers a warranty period, they will respond free of charge in the event of leaks after installation.
Additionally, some contractors provide aftercare services separate from warranties, so be sure to check if the contractor you are considering has aftercare services available.
Since abnormalities or damage on the roof may not be visible, you might not notice them yourself.
By conducting inspections during aftercare, you can detect issues early and prevent major repairs or failures!
Kakeru Koumuten Co., Ltd. provides a leak warranty as part of the installation guarantee for solar panels.
We also offer aftercare services and send out annual DM notifications!
Please check the DM, and if you wish, we will come for aftercare services!
Obtain estimates from multiple contractors (at least 3 companies)
When requesting the installation of solar panels, be sure to obtain estimates from multiple contractors.
Even if the same manufacturer is used for the same type of work, costs, warranties, and after-sales services may differ.
Additionally, obtaining multiple estimates makes it easier to negotiate prices.
To request your desired repair contractor at a lower price, it is essential to obtain estimates from multiple contractors.
When comparing estimates, please check:
“Verification of estimate items”
“Type of solar panels”
“Warranties and after-sales services”
Make sure to compare these details carefully! If the rank of auxiliary materials is low or if steps are skipped, costs can be reduced, so avoid making judgments based solely on price!
Check if they provide support for subsidy applications
Subsidies are often available for the installation of solar panels and storage batteries, but there is a possibility that they may not be granted due to application errors.
If you proceed with the support of the contractor, there should be no issues with the application.
Make sure to apply for the subsidy before starting the construction and proceed with the work after it has been accepted!
After the construction, the flow will be that the subsidy will be decided and granted!
Benefits of Introducing Solar Power Systems
The benefits of introducing solar panels are as follows!
Benefit 1: Economic Advantage
The biggest advantage of introducing solar panels is the economic benefit!
Although the selling price of electricity has decreased compared to ten years ago, the rising electricity costs allow you to benefit from consuming the generated power yourself!
Electricity prices are expected to continue rising, making it attractive to cover your consumption with solar power!
If you plan to use the generated power at night, installing a storage battery is essential!
Benefit 2: Subsidies can be utilized!
The conditions and amounts of subsidies vary by prefecture and municipality, but there is a high probability that you can apply for subsidies!
Reducing the actual burden amount through subsidies is a significant advantage!
Benefit 3 Environmentally Friendly!
Solar power generation contributes to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and decreases dependence on fossil fuels, helping to mitigate global warming.
Since there is no noise or harmful substance emissions during the generation process, it is considered an environmentally friendly method of power generation.
Benefit 4: Improved Insulation Effect!!
Installing it on the roof or rooftop enhances insulation properties.
Especially in summer, it can effectively block direct sunlight, providing significant heat shielding benefits!
Benefit 5: Electricity Available Even During Power Outages!!
By installing a storage battery, you can use electricity even during power outages!
What points should you be aware of when introducing solar power generation?
Next, we will explain the “three points to consider” when installing solar panels!
Point 1: Maintenance costs may be incurred
The maintenance costs are related more to the roof where the solar panels are installed than to the solar panels themselves.
If you perform roof renovations 10 to 20 years later, there will be costs for removing and reinstalling the solar panels.
If the existing roof is deteriorating, it is reassuring to renovate it with durable roofing materials before installing the solar panels!
It would be comforting to request a simulation that considers maintenance costs before introducing solar panels!
Point 2: The risk of leaks increases depending on the roofing material
Slate roofs and tile roofs require holes to be drilled in the roof to secure solar panels.
Drilling holes inevitably increases the risk of leaks.
Of course, we will ensure proper waterproofing, but if you are concerned about making holes, one option is to replace the roofing material with a metal roof and secure the solar panels using the catch method.
Catch-type base hardware for horizontal metal roofs
Note 3: The roof will become heavier
With the addition of solar panels, the roof will become heavier. In the case of tile roofs, it may be reassuring to replace them with lighter roofing materials.
How to Choose Solar Panels?
There are many manufacturers of solar panels, and their output (power generation) and costs vary.
It is not simply a matter of “this manufacturer has the best solar panels”; what is important is to choose solar panels that are suitable for your life plan and building!
Here are some points to consider when comparing solar panels!
Choosing Method 1: Compare by Total Power Generation of the Roof
When installing solar panels on the roof, it is important to consider how much power can be generated in the limited area, and the more power generated, the better!
Solar panels come in various sizes depending on the manufacturer, and their power generation also differs.
A 350W output panel and a 400W output panel may seem that the higher output panel is better at first glance.
However, if the size of the panel does not fit well with the roof, “20 panels of 350W can be installed, while only 15 panels of 400W can be installed,” meaning the number of panels that can be installed may differ even on the same roof due to the size difference.
400W × 15 panels = 6kW (total power generation of the roof)
350W × 20 panels = 7kW (total power generation of the roof)
As shown above, even if the output of a single panel is lower, the total output of the roof may be higher!
It is important to consider the total output of the roof rather than just the output of a single panel!
Choosing Method 2: Compare by Degradation Rate of Solar Panels
Solar panels have a degradation rate, and their power generation gradually decreases over 10 or 20 years.
After 30 years, some may have a 40% decrease in power generation, while others may only decrease by about 10%.
By not deciding solely based on initial power generation and considering the degradation rate, you can choose solar panels without regrets!
Choosing Method 3: Compare by Warranty Period
There are several types of warranties for solar panels, including “output warranty,” “natural disaster warranty,” and “system warranty,” and the warranty periods vary by manufacturer.
Regarding output warranties, some manufacturers offer a 30-year warranty, while others provide a 10-year warranty, so it varies widely!
Since longer warranties are generally better, be sure to check the warranties of the manufacturers you are considering!
