Procedure for Eaves Gutter Replacement
1. Dismantling Existing Eaves Gutter
We will remove the eaves gutter and brackets without damaging the fascia board.
2. Installing New Eaves Brackets
We will install new eaves brackets. When installing the eaves brackets, it is important to set the slope of the rain gutter using the brackets, which can be done with kite string or a chalk line. The slope of the rain gutter is crucial!
Due to the fascia (where the eaves brackets are attached) and the distortion of the building, there may be cases where the slope set by the brackets leads to backflow. It is important to check the slope with a level against the fascia before attaching the brackets!
3. Installation of eaves gutter
We will install a new eaves gutter!
4. Connection with existing vertical gutter
We will connect the existing vertical gutter with the eaves gutter.
5. Water flow test and cleaning to complete!
That’s all!
For the eaves gutter, we used Panasonic PC50.
Unlike Denka and Eslon rain gutters, it has a steel plate inside, providing greater strength.
