Sealing and Exterior Painting Construction Procedure

Joint Replacement Construction Procedure

1. Removal of Existing Sealing Material

We will remove the existing sealing material using a cutter or similar tool.
This is referred to as sealing, caulking, or joints. It is an important area that can easily lead to water leaks and can also cause cracks and peeling in the exterior walls. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

2. Masking Tape Application

Check the position to apply the tape and carefully attach it to avoid embedding into the surface.

3. Primer Application

Apply the primer with a brush or similar tool, ensuring there are no missed spots.

4. Filling with Sealing Material

Place the nozzle of the caulking gun at the bottom of the joint and fill it sufficiently.

5. Finishing with a Spatula

Use a spatula that matches the width of the joint to press firmly and finish it smoothly and flat.

6. Removal of Masking Tape

After finishing, remove the masking tape to complete the process.

Exterior Painting Work Procedure

1. High-Pressure Washing

First, we thoroughly remove dirt and moss from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing! If dirt remains, it can affect the adhesion and durability of the paint, so we wash carefully. We also wash the exterior structures, flooring, and inside the rain gutters. This time, we used bio-washing!

2. Surface Protection

We will protect areas that will not be painted, such as windows, sashes, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks. This is a very important task in the painting work!

If we neglect the protection, gaps may form, allowing paint to seep in or resulting in uneven lines.

3. Surface Preparation

Next, we perform surface preparation, such as crack repairs, while checking the deterioration of the exterior walls.

4. Intermediate Coating

Next is the intermediate coating. This is an important process to bring out the performance of the paint, achieve a beautiful finish, and eliminate unevenness!

The paint used is Kikusuikagaku’s Royal Seraclear. Royal Seraclear is a clear paint compatible with photocatalytic siding (difficult-to-adhere siding).

5. Top Coating


Next is the top coat. This will be the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting. We will ensure that there are no uneven spots or missed areas, aiming for a beautiful finish!

For the paint, we used Kikusuikagaku’s Royal Seraclear, just like the middle coat. [/chat]

auxiliary parts, after finishing the surface preparation such as scraping, for iron parts, we apply a rust preventive Lock Paint / Sabicut as a primer, followed by a mid-coat and top-coat with Lock Paint / Yumelock. We ensure to paint every detail thoroughly!
