It is considered a critical point of the roof.
However, the decay of the wooden part inside the ridge cap is difficult to notice since it is internal.
Therefore, we recommend replacement every 10 years.
Ridge caps are very prone to coming loose, and if left unattended, it can accelerate the progression of decay.
Thus, we recommend annual maintenance.
