About Polycarbonate Wave Panel Replacement
Polycarbonate wave panels are lightweight and durable materials used for roofs and walls.
Additionally, they are used as replacement materials when PVC wave panels are damaged or deteriorated over time, such as in carports and terraces.

Procedure for Replacing Polycarbonate Wave Panels
1. On-Site Investigation
First, an on-site investigation is conducted to understand the current situation (installation age, damage condition, existing materials, number of sheets, etc.). The number and condition of deteriorated corrugated sheets are checked, and the areas that require replacement are identified.
2. Removal of Existing Corrugated Sheets
The fasteners securing the corrugated sheets and the old sheets are removed from the substrate, and the framework is also checked.
If the framework is deteriorated, repairs or reinforcements are necessary. In the case of balconies, aluminum frames are common, but it applies to wooden, iron, and aluminum frames alike. Areas that need repair on the substrate for laying the corrugated sheets should be thoroughly checked and repaired as needed.
3. Installation of New Corrugated Sheets
Clean out any debris stuck in the grooves of the substrate and install new polycarbonate corrugated sheets. The sheets are cut to fit the size of the roof. The cut sheets are fitted into the substrate. When installing the corrugated sheets, simply fitting them is not enough for securing, so they must be firmly fixed with specialized fasteners such as screws.
4. Cleaning and Finishing
After the work is completed, thorough cleaning is done. It is confirmed that the corrugated sheets are properly installed, completing the corrugated sheet replacement work.
A key point to note when replacing corrugated sheets is that if the overlapping parts are too small, rainwater may leak through the seams, so the peaks of the sheets should overlap by at least two and a half peaks!
