When to Replace Your Vanity
The timing for replacing a washbasin depends on usage and maintenance, but a general guideline is about 10 to 20 years.
Over many years of use, issues such as water leaks from faucets, deterioration of drainage pipes, cracks in the washbasin, and corrosion in storage areas may occur. If you notice these symptoms, it may be time to consider not just partial repairs but also replacing the entire washbasin.

What Is a Bathroom Vanity?
A bathroom vanity is a fixture used for daily face washing, tooth brushing, and getting ready. Typically, it consists of a wash bowl, faucet, mirror, and storage space.
Recently, many products have features designed for ease of use and maintenance, such as:

Before Replacing Your Vanity
Replacing at the existing location often does not include relocation costs. Moving or expanding may require connection work to nearby water supply and drainage pipes, as well as the installation of additional electrical outlets for lighting, which may incur extra costs. Please consult during the on-site survey regarding the new location.
We will check not only the width but also the height and depth. Especially in cases where the space in the washroom is limited, it is important to ensure that doors and drawers can open sufficiently. We will thoroughly confirm this during the on-site survey.
If the new washbasin is smaller than the existing one, the wallpaper and flooring that were previously hidden may become exposed. When replacing the interior, if the washbasin is removed and reinstalled during the work, the back and bottom can be finished neatly.
Replace Wallpaper and Flooring at the Same Time
It is common to replace the flooring in the washroom up to under the washbasin and laundry pan, and the wallpaper up to the back of the washbasin. If interior work is done after the exchange, there may be additional costs for removing and reinstalling the washbasin. By carrying out the work simultaneously, you can avoid duplicate removal costs and keep expenses down while ensuring the entire washroom space looks clean.

Vanity Replacement Steps
Before the work, the washbasin shows noticeable signs of corrosion and dirt due to aging.
Using tools such as electric drills, we carefully remove the existing washbasin to avoid damaging the surrounding walls and floor. After removal, we will prepare the area for the installation of the new washbasin.
We will securely install the new vanity’s base to the wall. During this process, we will also connect the water supply and drainage pipes.
We will install the top section, which includes the mirror and storage, securely to the wall. During this process, we will connect the power line located at the back of the vanity to the outlet.
We will conduct a final check to ensure that water and hot water flow properly (water flow check), there are no leaks (leak check), and that the lighting and outlets function correctly (power check), completing the replacement.
