| We were referred by the house manufacturer who built the building, and we visited to inspect the condition and provide an estimate. There were areas where the sealing was completely cut, and since the exterior wall siding was also deteriorating, we proposed exterior wall painting and joint caulking work. Although a clear coat was requested, the deterioration at the corners was severe, and using a clear coat would leave the deteriorated areas visible, so we applied color only to the corners. |

1. High-Pressure Washing
Through high-pressure washing of the exterior walls, we thoroughly remove dirt and moss! If any dirt remains, it can affect the adhesion and lifespan of the paint, so we wash carefully.

Joint Replacement Work Procedure
1. Removal of Existing Sealing Material
This is referred to as sealing, caulking, or joints. It is a crucial area that can easily lead to leaks and cause cracks or lifting in the siding. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

Auton Exceed has a durability of about 3 times that of regular caulking materials (urethane, modified silicone, etc.). The expected durability is about 30 years. The cost will be about 50,000 to 100,000 yen higher for a building with a total floor area of 30 tsubo.

Typically, we would repaint the exterior walls after replacing the joints, but in the case of Kikusui Chemical/Royal Ceraclear, it is not allowed to apply paint on the replaced joints, so we replaced the joints after painting. The process varies depending on the materials used, and knowledge is required!
If the exterior wall is siding, it is common to carry out joint replacement and exterior wall painting together, so caution is necessary!
