Notice about the price increase of roofing materials
The major manufacturer of “Galvalume steel”, which is familiar in roof overlay (cover method) and other applications, has announced a significant price increase.
Aijii Industry has announced a price increase for roofing materials starting from shipments on July 1, 2022.
Similarly, the rain gutters from Panasonic that we use will also see a price increase starting from deliveries on July 1, 2022.
Aijii Industry is a top manufacturer of metal roofs and metal siding. In August 2021, they raised the prices of all products, including the metal roof “Super Galtect,” by 17%. Nihachi has also announced a 17% price increase.
The materials we frequently use will see the following price increases:
Aijii Industry/Super Galtect Price increase rate: around 10-15%
Panasonic/PC50 Rain gutter overall Price increase rate: over 15%
Due to the rising prices of raw materials such as copper sheets, fluororesin raw materials, and resin materials caused by the increase in the cost of coal, as well as the continued upward trend in production energy costs and logistics, it has become difficult to absorb these costs through corporate efforts alone.
