Joint Replacement Construction Procedure

1. Removal of Existing Sealant

Remove the existing sealant using a cutter or similar tool. It is referred to as sealing, caulking, or jointing. This area is crucial as it can easily lead to water leaks and cause cracking or lifting of the siding. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

2. Applying Masking Tape

Check the position for applying the tape and carefully affix it to avoid embedding into the surface.

3. Application of Primer

Apply the primer with a brush or similar tool, ensuring there are no missed spots.

4. Filling the Sealant

Next, we will apply the sealant. The sealant used this time is SR Seal H100! SR Seal H100 is a modified silicone sealant that offers high durability and weather resistance.

The durability is approximately 30 years!

5. Finishing with a Trowel

Use a trowel that matches the joint width to press firmly and finish smoothly.

6. Removing the Masking Tape

After finishing, promptly remove the masking tape.

We were able to complete the work beautifully this time as well!

Exterior Wall Painting Construction Procedure

1. High-Pressure Washing

First, we thoroughly remove dirt and moss from the exterior walls using high-pressure washing! If any dirt remains, it can affect the adhesion and durability of the paint, so we wash carefully.

We also provided a complimentary cleaning of the floor and inside the rain gutters! This time, we performed high-pressure washing using bio-cleaning.

2. Substrate Adjustment

After the high-pressure washing is complete, we assess the deterioration of the exterior walls and carry out substrate adjustments such as crack repairs.

3. Protection of Areas

Next, we protect areas that will not be painted, such as windows, frames, and floors, using masking tape, blue sheets, and polymer masks. This is a very important task in the painting process!

If protection is neglected, gaps can form, allowing paint to seep in or resulting in uneven lines.

4. Primer Application

After completing high-pressure washing and substrate treatment, we apply the first coat of paint. This primer is essential for ensuring that the middle and top coats adhere well to the surface. A thorough application of the primer greatly affects durability and finish!

This time, the primer used was Astec Paint / Epithic Filler.

5. Middle Coat

Next is the middle coating. This is an important process to bring out the performance of the paint, achieve a beautiful finish, and eliminate uneven application!

The paint used for the middle coating is Astek Paint / Fluorine REVO1000-IR.

6. Top Coating

Next is the top coating. This is the finishing touch for the exterior wall painting. We will be mindful to ensure there are no uneven areas or missed spots, achieving a beautiful finish! The paint used is Astek Paint / Fluorine REVO1000-IR. The manufacturer’s expected durability is about 16 to 20 years. Astek Paint’s heat-insulating paint holds the No.1 share among heat-insulating paints! Due to its high cost performance and excellent heat insulation, it has become a very popular paint with us!

7. Painting of Auxiliary Parts (Eaves, Water Cutters, Door Frames, Rain Gutters, Nose Hiding, Slim Ducts)

Eaves

Eaves are less exposed to sunlight and are less prone to deterioration; however, due to poor sunlight, they tend to develop moss and mold more easily.

Therefore, we use paint with high anti-mold and moisture-permeable properties for the eaves.
The paint used is Nippon Paint / Ken Ace.

For the attached parts, after finishing the surface preparation such as scraping, for iron parts, we apply a rust preventive primer, followed by a middle coat and top coat with Yumelock. We ensure to paint even the smallest areas thoroughly!
