Joint Replacement Work Procedure
1. Removal of Existing Sealing Material
This is referred to as sealing, caulking, or joints. It is a critical area that can easily lead to leaks and cause cracking or lifting of the siding. Cracks and peeling are signs of deterioration!

Normally, we would perform the joint replacement after the exterior wall painting, but in the case of Kikusui Chemical/SP Power Fluor Clear, it is not allowed to apply it to the joints after replacement, so we replaced the joints after painting. If the exterior wall is siding, it is common to carry out joint replacement and exterior wall painting together, so caution is necessary!
