Roof Replacement Construction Procedure
1. Existing Roof Demolition
We will dismantle the existing roof.
2. Installing new sheathing
After dismantling the roof, we will process and install new sheathing to fit the dimensions.
3. Installing roofing (waterproof sheet)
The roofing used this time is modified asphalt. It is expected to have double the durability of standard asphalt roofing!
4. Fabricating flashings (decorative eaves, edge flashings, valley metal, waste boards)
We will fabricate and install decorative eaves, edge flashings, valley metal, and waste boards.
5. Main construction
After finishing the main roofing, we will install the ridge and wall plates. This time, we used cedar ridge boards, but there are also resin ridge boards that are resistant to corrosion.
6. Fabricating ridge flashings and wall rain diverter flashings
We will process and install the ridge cap and ventilation ridge. For the wall edge, we will process and install a component called rain gutter flashing. We will also ensure that the sealing is done properly.
7. Cleaning
We will remove footprints and any debris that may have fallen around the house or inside the rain gutters, and we will do a thorough cleaning.
We strive to leave the site cleaner than it was before the work began!
The construction is now complete!
The roofing material used is the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial.
The Super Galtect comes with a manufacturer warranty of 15 years for the coating and 25 years for perforation.
We also provide a 10-year construction warranty!
Made of Galvalume steel, it is resistant to rust.
Insulation material is tightly applied from edge to edge of the roofing material, creating a metal sheet that integrates the steel plate and insulation.
When installed, insulation is applied even to the parts where the roofing materials overlap, and the surface is coated with a high heat-reflective paint, allowing for a cool summer and warm winter experience.
Additionally, it has soundproofing properties, reducing the sound of rain.
Being lighter than other roofing materials, it also minimizes the sway during earthquakes, making it a good earthquake countermeasure.
You can choose from five colors: Shade Black, Shade Brown, Shade Blue, Shade Moss Green, and Shade Charcoal.
It excels in finish, durability, insulation, soundproofing, and wind resistance, and among our construction achievements, the Super Galtect from Aijii Industrial is the most popular and highly regarded!

The colonial roofing we removed this time does not contain asbestos!
