Our Proposal
The existing roofing material is “Colonial NEO,” which cannot be painted.
The reason it cannot be painted is that it is very prone to cracking, and even if painted, cracks and breaks will occur soon after, making painting meaningless; thus, it is deemed not suitable for painting.
This roofing material is now discontinued.
Repairing a Colonial NEO roof is effective through overall roof overlay (cover method) or complete roof replacement.
This time, since the underlying structure was solid and the customer wanted to keep costs as low as possible, we proposed the roof overlay method!
We explained the advantages and disadvantages of each roofing material, and the customer chose to proceed with the highly durable and insulated “Super Galtect” for the project.
When performing a cover method on fragile slate like Colonial NEO, standard roofing sheets cannot be used, so we utilized the specialized roofing sheet “Tadis Self Cover.”
